I don't think so, not yet at least, but his play of late makes it a legitimate question.

If only Neil could trade and sign people as good as he can draft.

They're both damned good. I don't see any reason to try to establish a pecking order. Dame has accomplished more so far, but CJ is certainly showing that he's on a similar talent level.

Similar talent level is a good way to put it. As much as people think CJ is a cookie cutter of Dame, they have different strengths. CJ is and probably always will be a better and more efficient shooter. They way he finds space in the mid range is amazing to watch. Dame is a better finisher and ups his efficiency just by getting to the line more. Dame will most likely always be a better distributer and play maker as well. I still think the two can work together on a special team. It just might take time to figure out the right personel to pair up with them.

I don't think McCollum is a better shooter. I think if he took the same shots Lillard takes, his percentage wouldn't be as high. McCollum probably is a more efficient shooter, though, because he limits himself to the good opportunities.

That, in itself, is not a criticism of Lillard. Extremely tough shot-making is important, because you can't always spring someone loose for a clean look. The question, to me, is whether Lillard is properly balancing the amount of really tough chances he takes against moving the ball and trying to get something easier.

People saying they can't coexist defensively are ignoring our defense in the 2nd half of last season.

Or the defense we just watched last night. That passed the eye test and the statistical test. It can be done. I think it really helps having Aminu and Harkless out there together. Their length and hustle really compliment each other.

How do we know you won't just run off to Vegas and become the mod of a stripper forum with our 5 bucks....#Iwasn'tbornyesterdayyoungpokerpup

Come on. What's $5 going to get you these days? A quick jiggle near you and she's on her way to the next $5.

Edit: I read stripper and went with it while disregarding the post was about Sly.

You forgot to multiply $5 by all the bottom feeders at ripcity2....then get back to me hobbs...but you are still one of my favorite posters

In Sly's case it would be burbs of Vegas where they don't all have Obama care checkup options

CJ makes many more wide open 3s and his midrange game is better.

Do you have a stat for wide open threes, out of curiosity?

Lillard is one of the very few players, ever, who has shown a consistent ability to shoot from 30' and shoot contested threes off the dribble. In other words, he has a historically unusual shooting ability, much like Curry does. McCollum is more like Klay Thompson, in this regard, to Lillard's Curry--he's a traditionally great shooter, while Lillard has a shooting skillset shared by very few.

I think that if Lillard limited himself to the threes that McCollum takes, he'd shoot at least as high a percentage, whereas I don't think McCollum can hit all the shots Lillard can.

Asking who is better CJ or Dame? Is like asking who would you rather sleep with, Angelina Jolie or Jennifer Aniston?

My vote is, go to bed with Angelina, and wake up next to Jennifer.

Yes, but which one do you trade? Jolie or Aniston?

Suppose you could get DeMarcus Cousins.

CJ is great. Dame is better. Other guys have been stepping up lately and Dame, being the great leader he is, is letting them do their thing. We're not talking about Russel fucking Westbrook here, Dame is willing to pass the ball for the overall good of the team. CJ has been hot, so CJ has been getting the ball. The people here who's memory goes back farther than a week or so do not have to ask who is better. If CJ keeps this up for another couple years then he will be better.

Dame has been great since his rookie season...CJ has been great for 2 seasons....people forget CJ was injured his first two seasons...makes Dame the ironman and Dame the better player given their age and their accomplishments...not saying CJ couldn't challenge him as their careers progress but now, it's Dame
