Is it happening again?

Not that it will likely do anything, but I am going to start reporting these guys as I see them for being poor representatives of the site until either a) they ban me or b) the admin tells them to stop. Anyone who takes the attitude that they are going to exercise their moderating privileges by writing garbage that other moderators will have to come afterwards and clean up, don't deserve the title.

Statements of "I am a mod, I will do what I want" prove that they do not have the attitude or aptitude to be responsible for anything, and that rightly it should be stripped.

We shall see which happens first :)

Yeah, but mods should know better. What kind of an example are they setting by coming over here and trolling us? Members trolling is one thing, but mods trolling? That's fucked up.

I'm not gonna lie but this is what I'm thinking right now. But you guys should just stay away from Laker forum and it should all be good for awhile. The other mods are getting on them, so don't worry about them abusing their powers.

i love that lost one came in and said it's perfectly ok for him to troll and bait because it's not against the rules. he clearly did not read the forum rules himself.

1. All posters with honorable intentions are welcome.
2. This is a big site with a lot of members. You may not like every one of them. However, we expect everyone to at least respect each other.
4. Flame wars are not allowed. We do tolerate poking fun of one another in good fun, but hateful posts towards another poster are not allowed.

it would appear that he was breaking at the very least those 3.

People with the intention to bait should stay away from the forums that would tempt them to do so. People who want to discuss reasonably are welcome here and should be welcome on the Lakers forum.

I have not, nor will I ever, post on a Lakers forum. Period.

Damn it! I need to stop spending quality time with my hot wife and kids and spend more time on here! See what I miss!!!!!!!

Yeah, but they just beat the Lakers and their fans obviously don't know how to react. They're sore losers and are pretty bitter after a lost, especially a blowout....but they could go to Laker forum if they want.

I think I've checked the Lakers forum twice since I've signed up here.

The more important thing is hopefully they never come back. Moderators trolling makes this site look pretty stupid imo. Might as well give every 14 year old a moderating position.

They should just stay in their forum.
I'm gonna have to jump in here.

Why are you guys so protective of 'your forum'? Its not yours, its the site's. And from personal experience, its like you guys take offense to every non-Blazer fan coming here and daring to have an opinion that isn't pro-Blazers on that particular matter, no matter how valid or well thought out it may be. What is the point of just gossiping to each other all day about how good Jerryd Bayless is, instead of engaging in actual debates with fans of other teams?

Just sayin'.

Evidently the underage, clueless self-important "moderators" who are deliberately trolling and baiting posters in this forum have no clue at all that this was the EXACT kind of behavior that led most of the members posting here to flee BBF and set up camp at SportsTwo. Deju Vu is right. I mean it's incredible that juvenile Laker "moderators" are once again deliberately trolling and baiting posters in the Blazer forum. One of them was even dumb enough to admit he was doing it on purpose, enjoyed it and planned to do it more often.

Well, as they say, those too stupid to learn from history are doomed to repeat it. They may think it's funny, but you certainly have to question both their intelligence and their motivation.

This forum is by FAR the only NBA team forum on SportsTwo that's worth a shit. All the other ones are irrelevant As I type this, there are 56 people viewing the Blazers forum. All 29 other NBA team forums on SportsTwo currently have a grand total of 10 combined viewers. That's right, the Blazers forum here is over 5 times more popular than all other team forums combined. So, is their motivation simple petty jealously that this forum is wildly popular while their own team's forum is a virtual ghost town? Or, are they actually dumb enough to think if they manage to destroy this forum they somehow "win"?

The site owners here are pretty laid back, but I have to wonder how they would feel if some of their moderators managed to destroy the one NBA team forum here that generates vastly more page views, and therefore, vastly more ad revenue, than all the other NBA team forums combined. Did they not learn anything from what happened at BBF? Did they really spend all the time, energy and money to set up this site and get it running, only to have a couple idiots they appointed as moderators chase away the members of the only NBA team forum here that's generating any revenue for them? If so, I have one thing to say: "The business model is broken".

not true. if they want to come in and argue, fine. But to come here and post pictures of rudy on a stretcher saying he's a wimp and laugh that he went to the hospital and then likening it to Paul Pierce in last year's finals, its pretty low class and obviously just to get a rise out of us for the sake of doing it.

at the same time, i've yet to see any of the lakers posters attempt to engage in an actual debate.

What's the point of debating with fans of other teams if all we want out of a board is to gossip about how good Jerryd Bayless is? :)

I'm not referring to Mamba and Lost One or anything in the past couple of days. I'm talking in general.

Where is Denny Crane when you need him?

anyone is welcome, we have frank and open discussions. there is no "unifying consensus" on the blazers board, it is very polarizing and posters speak their opinions freely and argue frequently. its not like we're all here just sucking each other's dicks for shits and giggles.

Over generalize much?

Douche bag blazer fans vs. Douche bag LA fans. Let the battle commence.

So, you mean "a few Blazer fans Vs the vast majority of Laker fans"?

:)

*tries to count how many times he has come in here with perfectly valid but not necessarily pro-blazer opinions, and been chased out by the troll-hounds*
