Is Oden still better than Bynum?

now no.. but I still think he has the upside to be. Not as many points.. but more on Defense and Boards.

Just wondering.

At defense and rebounding? Certainly At staying on the floor and on offense? Not so much. Overall Bynum has the edge because he's an OK defender, a good low post scorer and a a pretty good rebounder, not too mention he can mange to stay out of foul trouble and stay on the floor.

Oh wait, I guess you were expecting people to flip out and go ballistic on you? Sorry.

He's always been better than Bynum at the comparable stage in the NBA. So, yes.

He's also obviously more valuable to his team than Bynum. Exactly how much did Bynum contribute in the playoffs last year, when he was actually healthy for a change?

bynum is better offensively. oden is a better defender and rebounder.

I think Bynum is better at defending away from the basket especially in the pick & roll. He's really improved in that aspect of his game. Oden is a better defender at holding position in the post though. I'd say Bynum is closing the gap at rebounding. Bynum has taken strides there this season and is finally taking some pride at going after missed shots instead of just standing there waiting for the ball to come to him.

If Oden could stay on the court without fouling, I think he could be as good or better than Bynum.

Greg is a better defender and rebounder. Bynum is a better offensive player. But, with Bynum's greater experience - I would not be surprised to see Oden get to his level or higher on offense as well. He is much more of a beast, athletically, and is much stronger - once he figures it out - he will be able to score just as much as Bynum even if he does not develop the skill/foot-work, simply because of his ability to move people by sheer force.

Overall, Bynum is better at the moment, but Oden is not that far behind. By the end of this season, the debate will be much closer. 2 years from not, Bynum will clearly be second to Oden.

Is Kaman still better than Bynum?

Sample size means a lot... Also, give Oden the same number of games as Bynum and we'll see.

Cause one person's opinion is the collective agreement of every Blazer fan? Nice job picking one post to reply too... did you bother reading the rest or are you just looking for the one post to start a scene on the board?

GTFO.

My bad, he is delusional.

There, you can fix your tampon now.

You are full of crap if you think it's only me. Nikolokolus, rocketeer, Natebishop3, KingSpeed and andalusian all said similar things to me.

Thank you.

OH SNAP, YOU SHOULD ME!! Oh wait, its the internet, and insults don't work at all.

You are a moderator?

Pretty sure Black Mamba is the one who got grounded by his parents because he got a 3.8 instead of a 4.0 or some shit. :tsktsk::tsktsk::tsktsk:

 I wish I could've gotten a 3.8.

Bynum is a better scorer. They are comparable rebounders. Oden's slight edge on defense is negated by fouls. Both players have a bad injury history, but at least when Bynum is healthy he plays.

And can we please put to rest the whole "Bynum plays more minutes/Bynum has played more games" arguments? Those are things in Bynum's *favor*, and people are using them to discredit him?
