Winning the division doesn't guarantee HCA
Yes it does:

"The team that has the best record in each of the three divisions in each conference is declared division champion. The three division champions, and another team in the conference with the best record, are seeded one through four by their records. This guarantees the division champions no worse than the fourth seed, and also guarantees the team with the second-best record in the conference will be the second seed even if isn't a division champion."

The seeding doesn't give you HCA bro. Just a guaranteed 4th seed. There was a time the 4th seed had the 6th best record and had to play the first round on the road

division title gives you top 4 seed but team with best record has home court advantage

Kerr has no playoff coaching experience either.

And? How does that have anything to do with your comment that GS is exactly like last year? Pat Riley won a title being a rookie coach. It's happened before

I said GS has the same ROSTER that lost in the first round last year. Scroll back. Look at my comment.

I said "GS has the same ROSTER that lost in the first round last year"

And that it has everything to do with this season... You forgot that. But, they are a different team, with a different style, with a different coach

You on the happy sauce today, Mags? The top 4 seeded teams do have HCA in the first round. After that it's by record.

What I said was true. The players are the same. They are beatable.

I learned a long time ago not too wager on the internet with a guy who thinks here has abetter link. That said, prove it.[emoji12]

Just trust me bro. It happened like 3 times already. I think the last time was the Eastern Conference with Atlanta or Boston having to play on the road with the 4th seed

I think Atlanta (5th seed) had HCA over (4th seed) Boston a few years back

I have a permanent window seat on the bandwagon but if some of you want to jump off because you don't think we're "for real" I'll take the extra space.

Here's what I said, mags. It's all true and you agree with it.

By the way, the Warriors have basically the same roster as last year and they got bounced out of the first round. They're hardly invincible.

Not exactly. Speights has improved their bench with his improved play, and Livingston/Barbosa have been huge for them also. Klay Thompson is much improved. For the most part, same players, but if you really look at it...they're not the same team anymore.

I said they basically have the same ROSTER. That is true.

The same roster, especially how young most of them are, does not give argument that the team can be easily beat. Sorry... Players get better, new coach has a better use of the existing talent and the first round opponent plays a part.

I didn't say they could be easily beat. And I didn't say the players weren't improved.
