All over social media, I've been seeing people posting phone numbers for "Safe Rides" because Nazis are going around Portland beating people up.

The patriot prayer guys and other alt right strategy is to show up where they aren't wanted. Then cause a scene by saying things that they know will trigger liberals, they film the interaction and when they get the response they want they retreated behind police lines and claim to be attacked by rabid liberals. This is now their evidence that liberals are violent and Portland is cesspool. Its a pretty obvious tactic that fools a lot of fools. Portland is fine, I spent the afternoon downtown yesterday it was great. The only real issue with the city is the homeless population.

That makes obvious sense. I would have known that right away except that I see responses like that to people I have on ignore but can't see the post or the poster they're responding to. It's a glitch in the otherwise excellent system.

If you want to see a great zoo or OMSI you come here. If you want some great restaurant food you come here. If you want some decent performing arts you come here. If you want to be within two hours of the Bonneville fish hatchery, Multnomah Falls, the most beautiful view on Earth, Crown Point, Timberline lodge, the Oregon coast, gorgeous woods and so on, you live here. If you want to work in some world class high tech jobs you live here. I haven't even gotten into shopping and sports including the Blazers.

It's a very nice city and the last time I was there was right before the election, so I can't say if it is a cesspool or not now besides the videos that makes that particular area not look great, I was just joking around

Medford is a dump too and gets way too hot from about May until Halloween At least we have Crater Lake.

I joke but there's some beautiful country out your way.Crater Lake is special..Medford is a dump...ghost city...spent one night there and walked around boarded up storefronts...nice library that was pretty much empty but beautiful building

It got way too big too fast like a lot of places did, and now it has a lot of crime problems. I think there was a story saying it was the most dangerous city in the state. At least it has a bunch of fast food places like In N Out Burger and is getting a Chick fil A! You gotta lock your car doors while driving through it though. K town has to be better than that at least. We got the Casino too!

I wish I could remember where it was at but one time when my family was passing through K-Falls we ate dinner at a Mexican restaurant. It had the best chips and salsa I've ever had.
We also stayed at the Best Western and got a very nice breakfast rolled into the room price, i.e. free.
My father, aka step father, was a CPA and they had a convention every year in Reno which meant the rest of us got to go along for the ride. My mom, me, my wife and my brother.
