i still think if he was in the east he would be a lock. who else is in at that posistion besides JJ and dwade. he may have lost a step, but thats not a big deal because he is not a physical inside banger and does his damage on the perimiter. he still averaging almost 20 points this season. that and what he has previously done should lock him in. comments?

He hasn't played very much this season, which eliminates him from the discussion. Roy is not a Wade or an Iverson. He doesn't get an auto-bid to join the All-Star team because those guys are usually voted in by the fans. Roy isn't usually even in the top 5 vote getters for guards in the West. It ain't happening.

Comments eh? OK, how about this one: He looked like shit on defense, shot under 40% while he was in there, he can't finish at the cup anymore and the team was getting killed with him in there. And really losing a step on the perimeter is where it hurts a player the most. So, hopefully that answers your questions about him "deserving" to get in.

His only highlight this year is being injured and he shouldn't be an all star. LA deserves it more for putting up awesome numbers and player of the week honors.
