i was just looking at the past 10 games, and most of the games the rangers allowed 1 goal or less, and it got me to thinking, is talbot the real deal?? or is the rangers D the real deal? it seems like they play better with talbot in net.....
its hard to justify this to me as being a huge hank fan. my fav player in the league, as im a goalie guy.... but one cannot deny talbot has been playing better then hank. Now before you guys get on me here... lets face it, he has better numbers, people can say hank starts slow/rangers start slow, but there were plenty of games where hank let up some soft goals and didn't play well, its so hard to justify saying play talbot more then hank or even with hank consdiering hank is mr game 7 and very clutch, but one has to wonder, if hank starts off slow like he usally does, do the ranger go to talbot for a couple more games... I'm a firm believer if it isn't broke don't fix it and if the rangers are going 9-1 every 10 games.... that sounds like a formula for success....
i mean hate to say it, but you know what we could get for hank? ..... and even talbot?
one has to move this off season, and i would HATE it to be hank, but this is a business and if we can get some draft picks and some young guys... we HAVE to move one of them. the rangers have given up some first rounders and duclar and you don't stay up top forever unless you draft young talent (see detroit).
