She’s now exposed as an absurdity and a corrupt loser pursuing a personal hatred of the POTUS.

Now when he gives the SOTU it will be an historic victory speech detailing how he overcame the Dems treasonous attempts to weaken our country.

McCarthy blasts Pelosi for giving House '3-day weekend' amid government shutdown

By Brooke Singman | Fox News

Pelosi gives House members a three-day weekend, no deal to end government shutdown on the table!

California Republican Rep. Kevin McCarthy says that as federal employees are set to miss their second paycheck, Nancy Pelosi is sending House members home instead of working on legislation to end the partial government shutdown.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy on Thursday blasted Speaker Nancy Pelosi for canceling a Friday session of Congress and giving members a “three-day weekend,” after yet another failed attempt on Capitol Hill to pass bipartisan legislation to re-open the government amid the longest shutdown in U.S. history.

Friday will mark the 35th day of the partial government shutdown and the second missed paycheck for more than 800,000 federal workers and contractors working, or furloughed, without pay.

“People are going into their second week of not getting their paycheck,” McCarthy said on Fox News' “The Daily Briefing” on Thursday. “Speaker Pelosi just gave the members of Congress a three-day weekend and canceled Friday, instead of staying here and solving the problem.”

McCarthy, instead, said he was “asking that all leaders come together” on Friday and “not leave” until they reach a bipartisan agreement on a spending package to re-open the government.

“Speaker Pelosi is a very strong leader—she holds her members back and forces them to do things they don’t want to do,” he said. “She just gave a three-day weekend, while 800,000 federal workers are missing their second paychecks.”

Over the weekend, the president announced a potential compromise package. Trump said he was prepared to back a three-year extension of protections for 700,000 immigrants who came to the country illegally as children and were shielded from deportation under the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. This, in exchange for his requested $5.7 billion for a barrier on the U.S.-Mexico border.

Democrats, though, largely opposed the plan. Dueling Senate bills, one of which represented Trump's compromise offer, failed Thursday on procedural votes, sending lawmakers back to the drawing board on a potential resolution.

Your posts reek of desperation, lol. Keep up the good fight Mr. 30%

"I know some people call her 'Fancy Nancy' -- these days, I think a better nickname is 'Dr. No,'" White House adviser Kellyanne Conway told Fox News on Thursday, referring to Pelosi. "Just keep hearing 'no' -- just 'no no no' all the time - you can't just stomp your feet and say, 'Harrumph.'"

Meanwhile, Texas House Rep. Dan Crenshaw noted on "Fox & Friends" that Pelosi and Democratic leaders are actively blocking Republican efforts to ensure that federal workers are paid.

“This is a very little known fact but it’s very important," Crenshaw said. "Over the last week, we voted twice on a motion to recommit, which would send an appropriations bill back to committee, in order to pay federal workers.

Now this is separate from the bipartisan plan to give them backpay. That’s separate. This is two other bills that would actually pay them in real time.

This would actually pay them right now."

If Democrats' "priority is really federal workers," Crenshaw said, "then let’s actually pay them so that they can’t be used as pawns."

She's offered the same deal that the Senate, the House and the public all prefer. So, what's the holdup? Trump, that's what.

Rep. Ilhan Omar facing new scrutiny over past effort to win leniency for 9 men accused of trying to join ISIS

Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar is appointed to the House Foreign Affairs committee despite anti-Israel remarks
Former White House press secretary Ari Fleischer weighs in on Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s decision to place Minnesota Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar on the House Foreign Affairs committee.

Embattled congressional freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., once asked a judge to show leniency toward a group of Minnesota men accused of trying to join the Islamic State terror group.

The nine Minnesota men were facing decades in prison after being accused in 2015 of making plans, including buying fake passports, in an effort to travel to Syria and fight for ISIS, which was at its peak level of activity and held territory in Syria and Iraq.

Omar, who was then a Minnesota state representative, was part of a group that sent letters to Judge Michael Davis urging him to give shorter sentences, arguing that harsher penalties would only lead to more people joining the terror group.

“Incarcerating 20-year-old men for 30 or 40 years is essentially a life sentence. Society will have no expectations of the to-be 50- or 60-year-old released prisoners; it will view them with distrust and revulsion,” read Omar’s letter to the judge, as obtained by FOX 9 of Minneapolis-St. Paul.

“Such punitive measures not only lack efficacy, they inevitably create an environment in which extremism can flourish, aligning with the presupposition of terrorist recruitment,” she added.

One of the men in particular, Abdirahman Yasin Daud, was facing over 30 years in prison for trying to join the terrorist group. He admitted in court that he wasn’t trying to enter Syria on humanitarian grounds, but rather to participate in the activities of ISIS.

“I was not going there to pass out medical kits or food. I was going strictly to fight and kill on behalf of the Islamic State.”

— Abdirahman Yasin Daud

But Omar told the judge that the best way counter extremism was with empathy rather than punishment.

“A long-term prison sentence for one who chose violence to combat direct marginalization is a statement that our justice system misunderstands the guilty. A restorative approach to justice assesses the lure of criminality and addresses it.”

According to media reports, almost all the men on trial received lengthy sentences, with Daud serving 30 years in prison after he was found guilty of trying to provide material support to ISIS and conspiring to commit murder overseas.

She's a typical Islamist, whatever that means. Maybe it means she is a Muslim. Ooh, a dirty word.
Anyhow, she's famous for supporting radical terrorists who just want to blow things up and kill Americans. I mean, you can easily tell. Just look at her skin color. Now, look at her head scarf. It's as if she had a bright neon sign saying I am a terrorist and I am a Muslim bringing crime, disease and drugs into the U.S.A.

Or just listen to her words and take note of her actions.

Rep. Ilhan Omar targets Israel again, compares Jewish state to US South during segregation
By Joseph A. Wulfsohn | Fox News

Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar is appointed to the House Foreign Affairs Committee despite anti-Israel remarks

U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn, tweeted another comment about Israel on Thursday night, after previously landing in hot water for posts that critics have called anti-Semitic.

This time, the freshman lawmaker agreed with a liberal activist, who wrote online that current-day Israel is much like the U.S. South was during segregation.

The latest episode began Thursday night after the liberal activist, Max Berger, blasted the American Jewish Committee for its criticism of Omar, the Somali-born congresswoman, who recently said that she “chuckles” whenever people describe Israel as a democracy.

MINNESOTA'S REP. ILHAN OMAR GETS $250G BOOK DEAL AMID UPROAR OVER HER COMMENTS

“The American Jewish establishment claims Israel is a democracy for all its citizens. But the nation state law classifies 1.6 million Palestinian Israelis as second class. And 4.7 million people live under Israeli military occupation or control without political or human rights,” Berger claimed.

Later in the thread, Berger agreed with Omar that Israel is “not a real democracy.” He also compared Israel to the segregated South.

“Israel is like the south before 1963: millions of people under Israeli control are denied the right to vote, speak freely or assemble because of their ethnicity. It's a democracy for Jews only. That's not a real democracy,” Berger tweeted.

Omar endorsed the tweet, sharing his anti-Israel rhetoric to her more than 471,000 followers.

“Many of them truly know this, but don’t want to accept it. In the same way many Americans knew separate yet equal was immoral but remained silent until brave few were silent no more,” Omar wrote.

“They can attack, spin my words and vilify me, but they will not succeed in silencing me,” she added.

Shortly after being sworn in to Congress, the Minnesota Democrat was on the defensive for her tweet claiming Israel had “hypnotized the world.”

Earlier this month, several Republicans condemned a decision by Democratic leaders to appoint Omar to the House Foreign Affairs Committee, charging that she has a history of making overtly anti-Semitic comments.

The strong GOP criticism came as Omar separately fielded wide-ranging criticism for posting on Twitter that U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., was "compromised" -- and then, in a head-turning interview on CNN, admitting she had no evidence for the assertion other than that Graham sometimes supported President Trump. Omar has since rejected suggestions that her comments were intended as a homophobic dog whistle.

My hope is that we get a few worthy candidates and not two radical ones.
I think Howard Shultz (not that id vote for him, maybe?) has it pegged about two parties that are currently needing some prozac or something.
Its like some much hate from both sides and seriously wanting to strip the other from any respect at all.
Im teaching my grandkids not to get caught up in all this hate back and forth but be a peace maker and have a nice of balance in life must most of all, be respectful to others regardless of race, religion or politics (as long as it isn't anti-American). And also to respect Old Glory!

A Democratic state lawmaker who used a racial slur to describe a legislative district returned to the floor of the Maryland House of Delegates in Annapolis Wednesday — days after colleagues voted to censure her.

Mary Ann Lisanti, a delegate who represents Harford County, said she wanted some space from her colleagues who called for her resignation on Thursday. She told The Baltimore Sun she retreated to her home in Havre de Grace on Friday and returned to the capital on Tuesday.

Lisanti reportedly missed votes on Friday, Monday and Tuesday and was absent from a Harford County delegation meeting. She returned to her office Tuesday to prepare for a hearing on one of her bills Wednesday.

The House of Delegates voted unanimously, 136-0, to censure her last week following reports about an offensive comment she made in January at a social gathering after hours. Lisanti told a white colleague she had been campaigning in a “[N-word] district” in mostly black Prince George's County to support a candidate in last fall's elections, according to The Washington Post.

Despite calls for her resignation, Lisanti has refused to step down.

Ilhan Omar 'knows exactly what she is doing' with comments deemed anti-Semitic, author says
By Victor Garcia | Fox News

Accusations of anti-Semitism against Rep Omar dividing Congress

National Review Institute Fellow Victor Davis Hanson told Fox News on Wednesday he believes freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., knows “exactly what she is doing” with comments that've been judged by many to be anti-Semitic.

Hanson said the Democratic Party delayed a vote to condemn anti-Semitism because new progressive members would “walk” over their hatred of Israel.

“They have a problem because the Democratic Party leadership ... they have to have a blanket, generic, meaningless statement because if they were actually going to be exact and focus and really oppose anti-Semitism, about a third of this new Democratic progressive party would walk,” Hanson said on “The Story with Martha MacCallum,” “because they really do not like Israel and they are very resentful of this Jewish state.”

Hanson pointed out that Omar’s primary focus has been Israel, while she has avoided focusing on other humanitarian crises spanning the globe.

“Why is it always just Israel and the Jews? And then she resents when people push back,” Hanson said. “We understand why you’re doing it, it represents your constituents, it represents the new wing of the Democratic Party. There’s benefits to be accrued. Go to it!”

Crenshaw: There is a far left wing of the Democratic Party that truly do not like Israel

“But then don’t get angry when people say, ‘Don’t try to fool us, we’re not stupid.’ Israel and the Jewish state have certain implications and we know what is going on and it’s anti-Semitic,” Hanson added.

Accusations of anti-Semitism have marred Omar’s three-month stint in Congress, and she’s been condemned by members of both parties.

She initially apologized but changed her tone recently.

MSNBC PANEL DEFLECTS OMAR CRITICISM, BLAMES TRUMP INSTEAD

Fellow freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., has continued to defend Omar, calling out other controversial utterances from other members of Congress.

“One of the things that is hurtful about the extent to which reprimand is sought of Ilhan is that no one seeks this level of reprimand when members make statements about Latinx+ other communities,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted Tuesday.

Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-Texas, sees it differently, saying the “far-left” elements in the Democratic Party believe exactly what Omar is being accused of implying.

“There is a far-left wing of their party that ... is in true disagreement with them. They truly do not like Israel. They truly believe all the things that Omar has been saying,” Crenshaw told MacCallum. “She believes it. That should really be clear to everybody by now. She’s been trying to tell us for a long time and it’s been explained away multiple times now. There’s been apologies made for her.”

It would appear so, with virtually all of their new faces getting headlines for their immature, potty-mouthed, baseless attacks on 90% of Americans including most of their own party. They hate Americans, they hate Israelis, they hate themselves so transparently...

Followed up by their idiotic and unworkable everything for everyone policies to be paid for by somehow taxing some imaginary pot of gold that doesn't even exist. WTF are you going to find $30,000,000,000 in tax payments, and that's for a single program.

It's as if they were all just landed on this planet after being conceived and raised in a hermetically-sealed lab, or perhaps they are all just mentally stunted.

Few of the declared candidates could even win re-election to their first and only government positions let alone convince anyone to hand over the keys to America to them.
If the 2016 election is any indication, Please, God, please help them to commit 'suicide' more often.

DNC controlled House voted to continue ignoring/supporting 3 rabid bigots in their ranks, Pelosi clearly is leader in name only. It's both hilarious and frightening to see her flailing against a sea of hate and anti-Americanism at the party's most vulnerable point in history, unable to stop the mob tearing down America.

DNC Deep State in a battle for their existence with foreign-seeded and supported members. Won't be long before DNC is rightly pegged as an undeclared agent of a foreign government (Iran, Al Qaeda, ISIS) and it's leaders face prosecution for treason.

Funny stuff coming from a guy who fully supports the head of the mobsters, Trump who calls everyone who testifies a 'Rat'.

Just keeps getting better.

While all the Dem leaders are publicly throwing out lame cover for her hateful and bigoted attacks on Jewish-Americans, anti-Semite/anti-American Isis supporter Oman juts mocked Barack Obama's Hope and Change and called him a conniving baby-murderer.

Can't wait to hear Pelosi and Bernie Demsplain that one away.

Every time I see this thread I think wouldn't it be great if the Democratic Party and the Republican both got flushed down the drain. I know my immediate family says it's just wasting votes, but I support 3rd, 4th parties because they bring something new to the table if they ever (I doubt they will) got more support we'd have such a better dialogue I believe.

My thinking is more parties will become more relevant and like you say slowly get flushed/watered down over time. And the reason why, is what we've already experienced in 2016 with so many republicans running against one another a few democrats, Bernie isn't one, but ran as one. Now, coming up in 2020 you've got a huge field unfolding of Dem's with a % pushing hard for democratic socialism. The circuit that will seek out multiple parties, of near equal representation is, 24/7 news & social media. Because of the new wave of segregation, I prefer to call it social segmentation, thats taking place (not just race, but politics religion and social beliefs) segmented parties will be the natural result. Im hoping it will happen sooner than later.
