Is the NBA finally embracing dame?

Dame finally started getting key calls. Is the NBA PER machine finally realizing that Dame is most marketable superstar? Are they ready to have Lebron pass the torch to Dame? No one can argue he is the best player in nba, and his demeanor and his style of not switching forming superteams is streight from 1980s 90 style like MJ. I know Portland is a small market, but Dame is on nbk21 cover, he had major role in Lebron space Jam. Is NBA finally going to give us key calls like MJ and kobe used to get? Nobody in 2020 is more pulverizing and popular like Dame. If he KOs Lebron Lakers he will become biggest superstar and passing of torch

Also, they may figure they have to because if (angel choirs singing) if the Blazers were to win the Play-in and then beat the Lakers in Round 1, the NBA wants people to embrace and not wonder who the heck this Blazer team is.

What's my point? You're the one that made the ridiculous claim that Harden has never scored 50 with less than 20 FT attempts. Here are Harden's free throw attempts in his 50+ point games this year:

23, 18, 5, 6, 24. He had 9 50+ point games the year before and only shot over 20 FTs in two of them.

For high percentage FT shooters like Lillard and Harden, outside of dunks and layups going to the line is the most efficient shot there is. And then theres this...

It could be argued that Dame's career arc has now passed Curry's career arc.

Of course Curry isn't done yet either. My guess is that without KD, he returns as the clear #1 option for GS and his stats return to being the most efficient scorer & productive player in the game. That won't take away from the amazing play that Dame has been treating us to, but SC is an all time talent.

Honestly, I don't think Curry is a point guard. I think he's a shooting guard that they play at point guard.

Dame is a floor general. 100%. He runs our offense. He is in command out there. He can get others involved when he needs to.

Curry is basically played like a shooting guard in the Warriors offense, and Draymond runs the offense quite a bit.
