It's a great show, plain and simple. While some episodes are more illuminative than others, it's just incredible to delve beneath various cities, from Pompeii to Paris.

I take it back. Yesterday's episode on Jerusalem was inaccurate, slanted, and simply unwatchable.

My vote now goes to Secret Passages

They don't seem to have much competition on the History Channel. All they ever talk about is the world ending.

There's some good stuff on there. Sometimes, though, they insert political 'truths' instead of accurate history. It bugs the crap out of me when they do that.

Mythbusters is damn good. The pirate spectacular episode was particularly funny.

Gangland is the best show there.

MXC is on the History channel? I didn't even think Mythbusters were on the History Channel.

Discovery Channel. It owns several channels, including the military channel, history channel, discovery channel, and TLC.

I thought the thread was about History channel, because History channel and Discovery show fairly different stuff. MXC is on Discovery?

Isn't discovery channel considered a totally different channel than history?

There's some overlap - which can get annoying sometimes.
