Well, in 15 career regular season overtime games (including last night) he has straight up video game numbers:

30-44 FG, 68.1%......11-19 3PT, 57.9%......19-20 FT, 95.0%.......

(Letter) O my.

So that would be a pretty strong start for a candidacy. How about his overall ‘clutch’ numbers? Here are this year’s leaders, minimum of 25 attempts in the last five minutes of a game with the score within five points either way (through Sunday's games):

You may note that the dunk and three from Friday's game detailed above didn’t qualify for this, as Portland was either up or down more than five points.

It’s also worth noting that Anthony Davis is not on this list because he has only 15 such FGA. He has hit 13 of them, for an 88.7% clip. Just another reason to shake your head in wonder and fear at the coming of the new overlord.

The entire article is actually a great read!

In answer to the thread title: No.

No there isn't. I seriously love the last few minutes of the 4th quarters of our games.

Not going to go all in just yet. Lillard is absolutely what this team needs and i as a fan am very happy with him as the point guard for the Blazers but right now i think Curry is a bit more. Now i have to explain my reasoning as it won't hold up against stats. Simple fact is Lillard has been in more "End Game" positions because GSW has not had as many tight games. Like i said i Love what Lillard brings but right now Stephen Curry is playing at a level that very few ever achieve.
One other thing i think Dame is well on his way to getting to that same level.

Fuckin' Sweet. Lets go baby. I'm calling 5 trays tonight from mah man Lillard.

Like Sergio, Lillard played his own style in a great rookie year, then tailed off in Years 2-3 as he was told to defer to teammates.

Shirley, you're not comparing Lillard to Sergio. Rodriguez?

Sergio was multiple times better than Lillard at the most essential point guard skill, passing.

Note the asterisks after the names. Sergio beat every rookie in history who later became an NBA Hall-of-Famer, except Stockton in one list, the third list.

More Clutch . LeBron sounds like the name that fits the phrase. I would give two bits for Curry (this year) .

I don't mean to be rough with you, Homer. I have my whole routine down for when Boob questions the greatness of Sergio.

You don't want me to pull out my other lists. Suffice it to say that I am fully capable of proving that Sergio is the 2nd-greatest PG of all time, after Stockton, a legendary rivalry. I have proven this to Boob, and he dares not take me on in statistics, at which his skill is limited.

Oh please...Enlighten us. I would love to be educated on this matter.

He may not be hitting his 3 point shot in clutch scenarios right now but he is taking it to the hoop like a mo fo. And he definitely had some clutch layups last night when we were putting the game away. No matter how long his "slump" lasts, even if it was the rest of the year, I am 1000000000% sure that it will come back. Nobody is that good from deep and just never gets that back after a slump. In the meantime his game is getting more and more well rounded. His ability to take it to the hoop is becoming Tony Parker or Steve Nash-esq.

I was wondering if anyone else noticed that. His ability to finish at the rim has dramatically improved this year. And that is freaking huge! Every outside shooter has slumps, but if you can attack the basket you are always going to score.

Well, I deserve it for being so ignorant of Sergio's greatness. It's shocking and unfair that he didn't make it in the NBA and is banished to Spain where his millions are in Euros and he's only having sex with hairy foreign women.
