Is there any upside/potential in Adam Morrison whatsoever?

Or is "The 'Stache" just an all around bust who is simply a warm body for training camp purposes?

I expect Morrison to show the team his two rings to inspire the guys. It's about time we have championship experience on our team.

He fits right in with the rest of the talent excluding maybe our top 6-7 guys. Our bench is pretty weak on paper. Anybody could get the nod if they manage to step up.

If the Blazers (Terry Stotts and staff) are serious about being a good three-point shooting team, it can't hurt to have a three-point specialist available off the bench. He could be the guy who either pushes Luke Babbitt to be the sharpshooter off the bench, or who takes that job from him, once and for all.

I'm all for giving Morrison a chance. I think he's a good player - he was just never worth a lottery pick.

hahahahaha!!!

Oh, sorry.

Back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Who knows? I think the Blazers will be trying to determine that during training camp. He has a non guaranteed contract so why not give him a look?

I think the oil slick from Morrison's hair has the potential to make the salmon in the Columbia taste funny enough so the sea lions won't eat so many of them...

I SEEN IT!! IT'S THE BLAZERWOOKEE! He's back form the dead!

He can't hurt us right? When we are down 15 in the 4th, throw him and Babbitt in there to bomb 3s. The guy can still shoot.

Oh yeah, and why not hire that old guy who can hit thousands of free throws in a row just in case we're up big and the other team keeps fouling us in the fourth. Because basically all you need is one talent to be useful.

Why exactly would other teams foul the old guy that can hit free throws?

Morrison's best 3pt shooting season was .337. Last year, sub .250.

It's cute that you're still standing up for Ammo after he broke your heart so.

That constitutes sticking up for Ammo?

Uhhhh, okayyyyy.

Anyways, weren't you the one that was posting video's of Morrison playing overseas just last year?

Yeah, I think people have him confused with JJ Redick (still). Ammo was never really a 3-point shooter.

I think the ball has to be in his hands a lot more than NBA teams have wanted to let it. It's also not clear if he should have been a SF or SG.

I see no value in Morrison at all. He's not athletic, an over rated shooter... My guess is that someone associated with the team owes him or his agent a favor and this is it.

He's completely undeserving of a training camp invite....

That muthafucka runs like Betty White....

He certainly has value on THIS TEAM in THIS MARKET. It won't take much for him to be a local phenom. One or two memorable moments and Olshey will be castrated for cutting/dealing AMMO. Olshey may be best served to avoid the situation all together.

Speaking of Olshey, I saw him at the Oregon Zoo on Saturday.

He's never been consistent looks though.

Because he's white and has long hair?

After his injury in 2nd year in Charlotte he's never been given a fair shake. I think an offensive minded coach like Stotts can find a role for him.

I think he'll give us meaningful minutes this year at the very least.

Now I know you're a troll. NOBODY actually believes this guy can play.

Now be truthful- are you Mixim returned?

We always need shooters, but can he move enough to guard someone. From what I can see we have multiple "back up" players at the 3. But none of which can guard a quick attacking SF. I guess Wes will have to fill that role because between Morrison, Claver, Babbitt, Jefferies (Who is listed at a SF but I assume will play PF-C) and Pavlovic (who is 6'8" but listed at a SG), I am not sure who will get meaningful minutes.

Actually I can make a guess and that will be Claver.
