Really odd thinking back on it. I don't think PapaG every even came close to trying to insult me. But Sly thinks the staff did their job? I never would have come up with that thought. HCP often post little dig at me, but I just sort of let it roll,
I truly do feel empathy for him with all Mrs. joke that flow. I haven't done that but many many do.
Insults are a funny thing, usually different for different folk. I sure as hell wouldn't be one to deleting posts to save the tender from insult. Can't imagine getting that right. Well perhaps from one point of view.

He once got chastised for posting some rap lyrics unedited if I remember correctly. If I'm even close to correct we should cut him some slack.

To me this is very similar to people calling Trump dotard. I know what it means but it becomes a way for people to say Trump is retarded without actually saying what has now been deemed a forbidden word.

I understand what Julian Bond meant but words can be used negatively even if they as a whole aren't bad.

If I said go muck yourself you mucking maggot...many people would understand what I really meant.

My MAIN point is that this word isn't one to fight over like Pepe the frog wasn't the meme to fight over. If we're reasonable, the next time we need to fight over something like the ok sign we won't look like we can't compromise.

Perhaps, I am not going to argue the point any further. Just one parting comment. Many books have been banned and even burned for one word that offends some. It is a damn shame.

That I won't argue with. Books being banned is an entirely different subject. I'm not afraid of any book no matter how vile. I can choose whether to read it or not.

It wasn't just personal insults. The guy would not let go of a grudge. He would bring his feuds into every single thread. He even tried to go to people's employers and get them fired. The guy was sick in the head. He was a cancer.
