<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>[Isiah Thomas wants to get Stephon Marbury back on track and he's calling in the big guns. Magic Johnson sat courtside at last night's victory over the Hawks. Thomas asked Johnson to talk with Marbury about playing point guard in the NBA. -- New York Daily News</div> You can't teach an idiot to be smart...sorry...it's never going to work with Marbury...I don't see how Magic Johnson could possibly be a help.

Yeah they spoke to magic during the game last night. I think magic is a great player and I hope he can tell marbury what the right things to do to win. we'll see how it pans out.

I don't see how.

no I know what you're saying. this is his last hope. don't think I like marbury in anyway but if he can actually change his ways and win then I'll like him. I don't think that's going to happen.

Read this in the paper too. Magic can;t do sh*t to these players Marbury is garbage

If you can do something it doesn't mean you can teach it.not that I disagree with your general synopsis

Marbury is helpless. Always has been. Always will be.

It's Marbury's job to make this change, not Magic's.

This is more like something you do with a young PG. Marbury is messed up... he is damaged goods he is no starbury anymore.

Its too late in Marbury's career. This should have happened like, 10 years ago.
