Isn't a Flagrant 2 an automatic one game suspension?

They should have suspended him games to start next season.

I hate it when they do that. You do something suspension worthy to an opponent in the playoffs, your punishment should be served against that same opponent in the playoffs. Why should other Western Conference rivals benefit from actions against OKC in the playoffs? That could actually hurt OKC if Green's suspension occurred against a team they end up fighting for playoff seeding or HCA next year.

OKC was wronged and had there been a suspension it should have been served against OKC in these playoffs. That is the only fair and just form of punishment.

You ultimately want the championship games played by teams at full strength.

10 games without pay might give everyone the idea that flagrant fouls don't pay at all.

So, suspend him for one game NOW. If the 73 win Warriors can't make the finals with their 3rd best payer missing one game, they probably aren't the best team in the West anyway.

I honestly thinks this hurts the Warriors. It was going to be hard for them to win in OKC anyways, but now IMO it will be harder.
Before they were the team that was pissed after losing by 30. Now OKC is the team that is pissed, and they are at home......

I just hope the guy who runs the jumbotron in OKC, that tells the fans when and what to cheer brings his A game. They're going to need him!

Why can't Paul and Cuban start their own league?

Because the 400 of the best players in the word are currently under contract to the NBA. And those that are about to be free agents are part of the NBA players union.

So, unless you hope to get a couple defectors, all the best players leaving college and a few international players, your going to be about 350 players short of having a competitive product.

The best players get preferential treatment by the NBA so why would they leave?

I just want Kiki and/or Silver to get up and explain how Green shouldn't be suspended when they just suspended Dahntay Jones and set the precedent.

If I'm Steven Adams I'm doing the same thing Green did at around the same time. That would put the NBA in a bad spot.

See Folks, Intent is unknowable.....

(Takes Two Headed Dummy, puts paper Marc Stein and Stephen A. Smith faces on Dummy.)

-Kicks dummy in the balls-

Who knows whats going through my mind right now!

-Kicks dummy in the balls again-

I could be thinking about my tax return!

-Kicks dummy in the balls again-

I'll just keep paying the fine because the league demands that we see STAR PLAYERS! It's got to be FAIR to the fans!
