Let's just call it as it is. The Nets may have been saying that they still see Kidd as the face of the Nets, but it sure doesn't show on the court. It's not at all difficult to see that they want Carter to lead and Jason to step aside. But the problem is, nobody would buy it. No matter how many all-star votes Carter gets, everyone knows that he can't lead a team. Well, except the Nets front office and Frank. It's been frustrating to see the Nets offense being forced to Carter. And evident the past 2 seasons, the Nets has crashed and burned with that plan. And when the panic sign lights up, they then turn to Kidd and expect him to pull out a miracle. It has been a proven fact. Kidd with the ball equals a Nets win. But they have been looking at another direction and has had a deaf ear on this. They want Carter to be the number one guy, but they want Kidd ready when he fails. A set-up that is complete BS! They didn't want to give him up to the Lakers because they very well know that once Kidd is out, so are the Nets. I really hope Kidd leaves the Nets this coming off-season and go to the Lakers or a team where he can get his ring and give him the respect he deserves.
