It's a Mags, Mags, Mags, Mags World

Yep! Indeed it is.

Several of us contacted the Coos County Veterans advocate about 2007 because that Carlson woman in Roseburg was skewing the numbers. The Advocate thought this was put to rest
because Bandon was central for most of us, even the people that lived in the Coos Bay zip code. Moving the Clinic the far north end of the area served would be ridiculous. While only
19 percent lived in Bandon, most where clustered around Bandon. Now with the clinic in the North Bend everyone drives North, except those that now live closer to Brookings since the clinic
move North further.

Paste from the 2007 article;
"The data showed that 56 percent of the patients using the Bandon clinic are living in Coos Bay or North Bend, while 19 percent are living in Bandon and 25 percent are living elsewhere.

The study also showed many patients living between Bandon and Brookings were driving to the VA clinic in Brookings, located about 11⁄2 hours south of Bandon on U.S Highway 101.

“We are always looking to be more efficient,” Carlson said of the search for available space. “These are taxpayer dollars.”

Area served by Bandon, now North Bend. To the north of this is the Oregon Dunes, not many Vets live there. South of this is closer to Brookings.

We, those that I spoke with and my Provider (doctor) all thought this was put to rest. My provider even moved to Bandon in 2008.
Apparently Carlson continued and the idea made a good shovel ready project. Screw the Vets. The Va was using about half the building
in Bandon, now most of it is a Community Health Clinic.

It's a nice theory, but I'm afraid the timeline is all wrong. They announced April 30, 2008 that the clinic would move (my second link in the prior post) and one year later, the clinic was open in North Bend. The story says "Contractors started working on the 10,000-square-foot clinic in late August." That would be August 2008.

I'll take your word for it that the move was a bad idea, and that Bandon was a better place for the clinic. But it was clearly well underway before Obama became president.

Government isn't the solution to the problem, it is the problem.

Interesting. The just let us think our Advocate had been successful to whole time. Even the people that worked there. Weird. I see that 2008 announcement, I just don't know where it was announced, Jolene Guzman
isn't the name of the lady that runs the paper in Bandon.

I see nothing in the Bandon paper about the VA closing after the 2007 articles. Some even went down there for the appointment to find it closed. I suppose that let us think our Advocate had indeed fixed the issue.

Obama didn't fix it. Probably counted it as a shovel ready success.

How come U.S. veterans fight socialism in wars, then retire and whine like victims when they don't get enough socialist benefits? Might it be cause-and-effect?

On a related note, here's a Republican Washington state legislator caught in many lies about what he did in the military. He's trying to lie his way out of his lies. New article.

Is taking care of Vets socialist in your mind? Not mine. I would say taking care of non vets is socialist, taking care of Vets is reasonably fair or just.

If you want, I can tell you tales about my campaign medals and other detail that got me rated a class three vet. However, almost none of it shows up in a service record like the DD214.
Most campaign medals are created long after the campaign, and most of the time long after the vet has been discharged. They do not go back and update service records, issue new DD214s
and all, but that does not mean there are not entitled to the award.

I would be very interested to hear those tales. It was an important time for the country, so we need to do whatever we can to preserve the oral history of the Confederacy.

Oh well, that era would be about my GGGrandfather's time in the British Navy. Interesting stuff about a Frigate and the missions involved during a two year deployments in a circuit around the Atlantic. I don't believe I had any American ancestors yet, at that time.

After the results came through Mags tossed his tv into his fish farm tanks.

According to my sources.

these interviews and similar things have been coming out for some time now. I think it's about time Trump stand up and denounce these groups and ask them publicly to stop their robocalls at a minimum. What he should do is stand up and say these groups are disgusting and that he doesn't want a single one of their votes.

Unless of course, he does.

The question was, "Which is your favorite flavor? Submarines, ICBMs, or bombers?" The proportion of total nuclear devices allocated to each delivery system has long been calculated by military planners and think tanks. Just like the numbers of personnel, Jeeps, and C-Rations sent to each regiment. The President doesn't worry his pretty face over such bookkeeping.

The question was so stupid that Trump just answered his own question, "Why will I be a better Commander-Chief than the other candidates debating here?" I don't think he gave a bad answer.

now my friend...it's green fonts or you've gone off the deep end...you're right about him not giving an answer but really wrong about him not giving a bad answer...Trump's ignorance gets no free pass if he wants to be president..in the words of Ron White...you can't fix stupid
