What is going on with the Big Donkey may be a lesson to learn for the Dodgers if they are following. I see Greinke may pull that opt out clause crap as well. Also noted that Smardjiza was mentioned in that River Avenue Blues Article. The man did not do that well for Oakland, nor for the White Sox for whom he allegedly wanted to be with. It would not surprise if idiot stick pulled off a trade sending Warren away for some broken down nag to be another Team Clown. Fuck the Steins for extending that assholes contract and sympathy to fellow Yankee Fans who have watched this team fail because of Cashmans poor acquisitions. As the old Hank Williams line went "the hide's getting scace:.
For the 1st time I'm beginning to see why Greinke would ever want to opt out of his contract, I didn't get it 'til this last June.......in 9 starts, prior to his last one, The Bums had only 13 Runs to show for Greinke's masterful 1.70 ERA, now lower after His last game........
If the Bums can't go to or win a NLCS, I think we may of seen the last of Zach in LA. He has a stipulation as well, to ensure he stays in the NL too. Many have said its cuz he likes hitting, and he is no slouch with a bat, one of the better Pitchers for hitting; this year and those past with His Bat. Hell already this year, I've seen Greinke get the 1st hit in a game, or drive in the 1st run, then get on base himself, and score the winning runs.......time and time again, Zack has been effective lately in trying to win the games on His own alone, with arm and bat.......
I bet Frisco, St. Louis, even perhaps the Cubs and/or Padres, might be teams Greike may be interested in, IMO, whomever wins the NLCS, is the way Zack will lean, imagine the Nats with Greinke, amongst all the other SP's on the Team. Such a move would make the Nats so over laden heavy with great SP's........unlike any NL team, IMO, since the golden years.........
I can't recall any pitcher whose had a better year with a bat, than Greinke's 3.28 B'Avg for 2013........!!!
