He has earned another year. If we can get an assistant to focus on D, keeping Terry will be a pretty easy decision

Don't want Karl but would love Hollins as lead assistant with almost head coach money.

And they are only out of the NBA due to not wanting a assistant job at this point. Stotts would have been a fool out the NBA as well if he didn't go back to being an assistant for a spell. Stotts is a retread, not that I have a problem with them like you seem to.

Rome was not built in a day.

Even that smug POS Popovich did not build his empire in just two seasons. And what he has going now is a testament to his longevity. Teams often forget this when they fire their coaches on a whim. Given how Terry (and Neil) has done in just two years, he deserves to come back.

He's getting old and his health is more important than any pressure he would take on as a head coach.

And I think Paul likes them more inexperienced, hungry and with something to prove.
