Now is the time to trade and get one. I've said for a while that Krebs is a guy I think would fit nicely with Cuylle and Kakko. You could never count on Chytil this season. We all knew that. Krebs value won't be that high and Buffalo is looking around already from all reports. Not sure what they are looking for. They are basically all left handed on D. I'm sure as heck not giving them Mancini. For some reason Cozens has regressed there. They have a couple center prospects that are ready to come up.

Now is the time to trade Fox for a center and shut down dman before his NTC kicks in, been saying it for years but the window of opportunity for this group is closing. Adam hasn't scored a playoff goal in years, hasn't scored a goal yet this season, he's not getting better, bigger or stronger. We can fantasize about trades moving guys like Mika but as seen with the Trouba fiasco it's a waste of time unless the player is willing. In the realm of Rangers GMs Drury has been one of the better ones , especially after taking the job from the disaster that was Gorton. but he's strayed from the philosophy he held when he took the job of making the Rangers a grittier team more suited for playoff hockey.

It's very sad, but Chytil has to retire, and the Rangers need to push him in that direction for his own good, and for the good of the organization so they can use his cap money next summer. When a hit like that knocks you out, and I bet it will be for months again at best, it is time to step aside and retire for his own future in life.

The Rangers were going nowhere this season anyway, and losing Chytil makes that even clearer. The team should be huge sellers at the trade DL, hope Chytil retires for the good of everyone, then regroup this summer and make some major core changing moves that are desperately needed, which was very clearly obvious to any fan who was paying attention and being real about the stale core after the loss to Florida.

Yet, another reason Drury is a moron. Prices at the deadline are always much higher. You have to build your team in the off-season. Dumbass Drury should have gotten a 3rd line center type before the season started. He's dumber than the morons running the Giants and Jets.

That's a stretch even by your means, football in this area has been bad for a while, even Rutgers stinks. The Chytil injury shouldn't come as a surprise but to sign a #3 C to wait in the wings until Filip's eventual exit from the lineup is more dumpfoolery, time to play someone not named Jonny.

Fox has a cap hit of $9.5 million of which I do not believe the Rangers would accept paying one cent of if they dealt him. Zac Jones has shown 0.00% ability of running an NHL PowerPlay at a high-level. Biggest moves I see are getting Miller out of here as soon as possible. Bringing back a solid, young, third line center along with a physical left-handed young defenseman with the size. You’re probably going to have to attach a prospect like Berard to get that done.

I was surprised when the Rangers resigned Chytil between cap issues and the likelihood of another upper body injury seemed risky but I would have to assume the Rangers medical staff cleared him. I agree they need a stay at home physical dman to replace Lindgren, another guy who should be gone. It's a crime that Mancini isn't playing.
