Fourth-seeded Kevin Anderson will face sixth-seeded Adrian Mannarino in the semifinals of the SA Open.
The only remaining seeds in the tournament advanced in straight sets Friday. South African Anderson defeated Karol Beck of Slovakia 6-3, 6-1 in less than an hour, while Frenchman Mannarino cruised past Frank Dancevic of Canada 6-3, 6-2.

South African wild card Izak van der Merwe defeat Simon Greul of Germany 7-6 (5), 6-2 to reach his first ATP semifinal. He'll play Somdev Devvarman of India, who rallied past South African Rik de Voest 3-6, 7-6 (5), 6-1

The U.S-based Devvarman was 4-1 up in the second set but de Voest forced a tiebreak. He broke twice early in the third set.

"It's not the easiest thing for Rik to come back from two breaks after you're two points away from the match," Devvarman said.

Devvarman leads Van der Merwe 3-0 in career meetings.

The SA Tennis Open at Montecasino is in its final year of a three-year contract with the ATP. It is still unclear if the event will retain its place on the 2012 calendar.

South Africa returned to the ATP tour in 2009 after a 13-year hiatus.
