It's hard to imagine the team wouldn't discipline Werth in some manner given the nature of his transgressions and his status as a role model.
You know I cannot recall an Era when so many athletes, MLB, NFL, and NCAA, as well as NBA, with so may DUIs, DWI, possession of a controlled substance illegally, reckless driving with a loaded gun in the glove box. or just simply Athletes buying Super Cars, that can't go less than 120 mph. Wife beating et al. (altho' I believe Adrian Pederson got the raw end of a deal), with the Rice's incident/precedent just prior.
Had Pederson been in the South, the Deputy would of pulled the switch off the tree himself, and said: "looks like your kid needs to be taken back behind the barn". Good old Southern Style Family Values.
