I thought some of you like to see Young's writting to get a feel for him:

But seriously, Damian Lillard probably said it best when he stated that replicating another 54-win season would be difficult during his SportsCenter Conversation which included LaMarcus Aldridge.

It’s not that the Blazers can’t win 50-plus games again, because they can. The Western Conference is deep, though. A team can win 45-50 games and still miss the playoffs.

Defense is another area the Blazers need to improve, as they allowed an average of 101.9 points (21st) to opponents. Yes, the Blazers can ball on offense (averaged 4.0 more points than allowed), and most teams know that if Portland is hitting on all cylinders, it will take plenty of fire power to beat them, but if the Blazers plan to take the next step, improving on defense is a must.

Just think: If the Blazers can score like they did last year, with deeper bench play, and be able to stop teams from averaging 100-plus points … no reason to think a trip to the Western Conference Finals would be out of the question.

"Anything is possible . . . " yet the best he can imagine them doing is reaching the western conference finals.

He needs to legally change his name to Jabari Young (NOT Parker). I think it should be a condition of his employment.

If the Blazers can get down to 100 points allowed, they're going to be legitimate title contenders. That would give them a net difference of around 7, which would put them right up there with the Spurs. I think the addition of Kaman and Blake has the possibility of allowing for that improvement. Those guys play solid team defense, which you could hardly say of Mo Williams and Leonard. Freeland works at it, but he's undersized for the center spot. The other aspect of it is that the improvement in the bench should allow the starters to play fewer minutes and thereby to be fresher to play a bit harder on defense.

just after one article i can already say he is a better writer than haynes. haynes was a little sloppy...this guys articulates better. chris haynes would probably just say
" i..i feel like these homies can ball and ball they will!" "on the defensive end...look...these boys put up buckets fuck the defensive end."

I agree. Jabari is a better writer but does he have the Woj-esque connections like Haynes has?

Those are just a few thoughts on the Blazers.

really? you have to explain this to me?

anything is possible.

like 3 bags of marbles eating a giant squid shaped easter egg inside of a black hole with butterfly wings and a side of slaw? is that possible?

I DONT THINK SO
