I'd sit Talbot and play Skapski. Less film on him, so tougher for opponents to figure him out. The word on Talbot has to be to just throw the puck at him because he has no rebound control and let's up soft goals.
 
Wow, you just ripped Talbot. For you that is killing him Step...LOL. He has been pretty much awful, all there is to it.
 
With how we are playing, and the fact that we have a minor league goalie in net, any point is a good point. So that is a good point. Better win in OT or else we are done...Talbot cannot stop shots in the SO.
 
I dont care what happens in this game. This team is incompetent and can't hold the lead if their life depended on it. This shit blowing leads have been going all year. They need to improve this roster otherwise they are not going too far.
 
Talbot is a good backup..i think the pressure of having to fill in as a starter affects him mentally at times.
 
We pressed them early and forechecked in the first period. Then we stopped and started dumping it in and changing instead of charging in and forechecking. Doesn't help that Talbot can't save crap at this point.
 
You just cannot say it can you Step...LOL. The excuses are funny. Talbot let's in a soft goal EVERY SINGLE GAME.

Talbot cannot cover a rebound, cannot catch a puck with his glove and his puck tracking on long shots is hideous. In no away is he a starting goalie.

In no way is he a backup goalie. Those are basic goalie skills that he lacks.
 
You have to be selfish sometimes. Way too much looking to pass crap out there.
 
This game is a loss in a shootout. Gotta win it in the next minute.
 
The plus, we are getting points with Cam in goal, so in theory when Hank is back we should be very tough to beat.
 
The fact Boyle still dosen't set himself up for one timers is really stupid at this point.
 
Up 3-0 at home is a game they have no business losing. Especially to a team out of the playoffs.
 
You don't think he's been good as a backup since he's been here 94? C'mon.
 
Shocked if we win this SO. Don't see Cam getting it done, and their goalie has been on fire.

Another late lost point on a soft goal...
 
They simply can't count on Talbot to win them games like Hank can. I mean, 3-0 and they still lose. Granted they really sucked in the third, but that last goal was awful. No way Talbot shouldn't have stopped that. In every game, you need your goalie to make a few big saves to win. Talbot makes some of those saves, but then also screws up and allows a soft goal every damn game.
