If the Yankees don't resign Grandy, would you guys like to see the Yankees take an interest in the FA.

All depends on the deal. He is a terrific player, but he gets hurt often...and will only continue to as he ages. would have to be a 4 yr deal at most. Anything more is too risky. Sure would rather have him than Granderson though, thats for sure.

So would I. And I agree on the years.

He's going to want a huge contract.

I dont think he will get it. Too much injury risk. Boston will prob welcome him back on a 3 year deal somehow. Thats how it works over there. Players take discounts. For the yankees they require a 30% premium on years and $$.

Somebody should explain how in the hell he hit 32 homers a few years ago.

Zero suspicion of course. Players in Boston never get scrutinized. Cano, however, is linked by association every other day, yet has always maintained a certain excellent level of play and power potential.

It's comical how people look the other way in regards to that ridiculous one year homer total. Granted it wasn't a Brady Anderson total of 50 but the guy doesn't have another season with anymore than 9 homers.

And it was that very reason that had eyebrows raised on Kirby Puckett when he jumped from 4 HRs in 160 games in I think 1985 to hitting 31 the following season in the same amount of games.

As was mentioned the Red Sox seem to always be immune from suspicion.

Hell I'm still surprised that no one really made a big issue about Jose Bautista. I mean the guy never hit more then 15 HRs in a season (2007) 15 HRs & 63 RBI in 532 ABs. Then 3 years later he turned into Babe Ruth hitting 54Hrs with 124 RBI in basically the same ABs (569)

All people were saying is that he adjusted his stance. Yeah...........my ass.
