The 6'5" combo guard out of Kitchener, Ontario, was the MVP at the Nike Hoop Summit yesterday. Murray, a high-school junior, is drawing comparisons to former Blazer Brandon Roy--check out the highlights and see if you think the comparison is justifiable.

Thanks for posting. He looks great. His drives and his composure definitely remind me of Roy.

The top prospects at the game were Ben Simmons (Australia/LSU/#1), a 6'9" ambidextrous point-forward; Jaylen Brown (USA/not committed/#2), a 6'7" athletic forward who had an underwhelming game; and Skal Labissiere (Haiti/Kentucky/#3), a 6'11" shot blocker. Cheick Diallo (Mali/not committed), a 6'9" forward-centre, also played well.

I'm so sorry to hear that. Just how many knee injuries has he had so far?

Bruh...

Apparently he's being recruited by Coach K so we'll all get to hate him in a year or two.

He's grown, he's 6'10" now. And he almost had a triple double, 16 pts, 9 reb, 9 ast.

He's great friends with Dante Exum, and they have played a lot together for junior Australian teams.

The other Aussie Thon Maker didn't have a good game, although he did grab 10 rebounds.

Maker is raw, but a 7'1" player who can crossover people, and hit 3's could be something special.

He can still play another year in high school, or go to college, so he has time to work on his game.

Canadians really want Maker to join the national program but he has said he wants to rep Australia.

IIRC he plays with Murray in Orangeville at the Athlete Institute.

Yeah I was worried for a little bit, until he said that.

They're trying to steal his younger brother 6'10" Matur too.

Didn't know his brother was there, also. Sheesh, they both look like they'll be in the NBA.

The Italian PG named Mussini might be a Zag. Between Gonzaga and 2 other schools.

I can't tell...That video didn't provide a very good look at his knees.

Murray looked real nice. Not much defense played in these All Star games though,

Great looking high school player! He's got great timing and a beautiful stroke!

Oregon has a good shot at getting him when he reclassifies. But he might wait till 16 and try to go in the draft.
