Nelson is a worse player but younger and, I suppose, a better "fit" due to his perimeter shooting.

So, this would be a fairly unexciting deal to me. A talent downgrade, but longer-term certainty at the position that currently has no answers for when Miller moves on.

The Nuggets and Blazers have had discussions about Denver trading point guard Raymond Felton and the 22nd pick for Andre Miller and the No. 21 pick. The talks appear to be dormant for now, with Portland balking at including other assets in the deal.

A good player, or Raymond Felton?

He had a nice (but not outstanding) PER with part of one season with the Knicks... other than that he's been below-average as a starting PG.

Ugh...this deal is not good. Jameer is a short chucker who can't play defense. There's no certainty with him either, he's never played a full season in his career and has had consistently lower PERs than Miller.
