So then this brings up another person who got fired over free speech. I remember a lot of people on this thread believed he should of gotten fired, google memo guy. I mean if he should of gotten fired then so should hill according to this thread but if everybody believes in free speech and not the workplace, then no, nobody who is speaking their mind on a platform should be fired or suspended. So where do people stand?

Schilling is free to say what he wants. And ESPN is free to fire him. Being fired from ESPN doesn't prevent Schilling from saying anything he wants on social media.

That's the issue, it's a double standard and she wont get suspended. Because people have made it okay to just say this word to everybody, EVERYBODY is a white supremacist. Do you understand why I argue this shit so much? things like this happen. How many fucking times do I need to make it clear I dislike Trump but at the same time calling him a white supremacist with no definitive evidence is just absurd. Makes no sense. Doesn't mean I am defending trump, but people are really taking what white supremacist really means away as well as the word racist. These days you can be both just for having a different opinion as you have seen with me and it's what i fight for, people to change this crazy way of thinking

She is paid a healthy salary by ESPN to represent them and talk sports. Saying the president of the united states is a racist has nothing to do with sports. If she wants to talk Trump and racism she should find employment elsewhere.
