No way to judge this without context. Is he the replacement for Vanterpool or is that coming via a promotion or another hire? He may just be a replacement for Blake.

I posted a link to his Wikipedia info...he has a resume...was known as a defensive pt guard...has experience in Europe and coaching in the G league ..Vanterpool worked with the guards...I'd say he'll be working with guards on defense most likely as Dave did.

I'm curious if he ever was part of a team coaching defense/offense against the Warriors and how did that team perform.

So was Vanterpool, who btw was the same age as Pargo is now when he got hired.
Great. Pargo might end up as a fantastic coach. That's not the point. Portland made it to the conference finals last year, and maybe someone with a tad more experience could make a slight difference.

Since you want to continue to be such a child about this, Vanterpool had more than twice as much coaching experience when we hired him than Pargo has had.

Coaching experience where? In Russia? If we’re talking about the NBA, Pargo has more experience. He also played in the league for 15 years. Vanterpool mightve played one. So who knows the NBA game better?

Blake wasn’t even an official member of the coaching staff. Glorified intern.

Magic played in the NBA for years. What the fuck does that have to do with anything?

Mo Cheeks played forever also. Bad coach

The argument wasn’t about who’s the better coach. You said Vanterpool had more experience than Pargo. I said when it came to the NBA, he didn’t. Not as a coach. Not as a player.

Coaching is coaching.

This bullying of people who don't agree with you is asinine.
