Iran has always hated the great Satan...
You should do better research....Iran has a huge majority of the population that is under 30 years of age and wants everything we have....freedom. They were on their way to making changes socially....I taught bartending to an Iranian expat in Taiwan...we talked a lot about what's going on there. Most young people have to fly from Iran to Dubai to dance, drink, go out and wear makeup, etc.....my student said they exercise freedoms in their homes they can't exercise in public....the young people there want the old mullahs to die off....I base my view of Iran on his stories more than the stories of politicians and generals.

We "invest" $3.5T of the $4.1T budgets already. Trump is calling for $1T in new infrastructure spending.
Arms manufacturers are going to boom, that's for sure....we're going to build military equipment with a chunk of that....then the "wall"......a Chinese businessman is investing in the rust belt.....that's not our money

Their taxes go to fund terrorist organizations.

$54B increase in military spending. 3/4 of the increased budget increase is your "investments."

The civilians don't allocate where tax money goes..........there's a difference between them and a fundamentalist religious mullah with a gang of followers....

We don't set up private back channels with the civilians.

I've never read Buzz Feed ....whatever they are.
They published that fake dossier, opposition research, fully acknowledging there was no legitimate substance to it. The rest of the media piled on, reporting "buzzfeed posted it" - so it was fair game to chicken little/yellow journalism that pack of lies.

Actually, Kushner was a civilian when he met with the Russians....it's hard to say if he still is or not....I don't even know if he has a title to go with a top security clearance..

I'm sure during Watergate there were people screeching about yellow journalism and leaks from anonymous sources. Maybe even the same people.

I suspect that our allies may view this as another reason to potentially not share classified information with this administration. if that happens the administration will have taken on the terrible responsibility of endangering the peoples of this nation and its armed forces from events and situations that could otherwise have been avoidable.

Watergate is irrelevant.

Just as relevant as bigfoot or any other mythical thing.

That actually makes no sense, unless you are trying to tell us you think Watergate wasn't real.

Watergate has as much to do with anything in current events as bigfoot.

Watergate is a prime example of journalistic responsibility......it applies to all who still respect the profession and have the filters to weed out the spin and get to the story

I learn from history. But I see as much relevance in any of your claims as to bigfoot. In other words, pure fantasy.

Yellow Journalism, in action, is learned from history. They teach it in journalism school.

Yes, it is. What a long way the journalists have fallen since then.

You can fool the people some of the time, but it seems you can fool barfo all the time.

Poll: Majority says mainstream media publishes fake news

Nearly two-thirds of Americans say the mainstream press is full of fake news, a sentiment that is held by a majority of voters across the ideological spectrum.

According to data from the latest Harvard-Harris poll, which was provided exclusively to The Hill, 65 percent of voters believe there is a lot of fake news in the mainstream media.

That number includes 80 percent of Republicans, 60 percent of independents and 53 percent of Democrats. Eighty-four percent of voters said it is hard to know what news to believe online.

“Much of the media is now just another part of the partisan divide in the country with Republicans not trusting the ‘mainstream’ media and Democrats seeing them as reflecting their beliefs,” said Harvard-Harris co-director Mark Penn. “Every major institution from the presidency to the courts is now seen as operating in a partisan fashion in one direction or the other.”

The ubiased Don Lemon's leading questions not answered as he expected.
