He has graduated from beating his wife (how could he? She's fine as hell, I would just make love to her all day, never would I hit her...) to hitting his son.

.....

haha....yeah, his wife is pretty...I can't believe he fell on top of his lil adorable kid (he was crying!)

do you mean about his wife, or him falling on his kid?? The incident happened during the playoff game 2 against the Bucks today (which they lost)......it was funny at the same time it sucked for the kid...poor kid didn't know what hit him (well, his dad.) You could probably search up articles about him being abusive online...dunnos...

Ya'll need to sympathize...all NBA players make mistakes and it's no surprise everyone jumps on him for running into his 4 year old kid...IT'S sad it's not funny yo....he could've broken the kid or somethin serious and here comes the peanut gallery jokin about it like it's all fun and games....sorry but someones gotta say it and that someone will be me

Lighten up, this isn't a session of Congress, this is a b-ball message board. The kid was fine, if we went through life wondering "what could have happened" then people would go nuts.

War is different than a little kid getting a little forearm to the head. He'll be fine, he's not gonna die. Can't say the same for some of those troops in Iraq.

WTF? I don't even understand ur last sentence. Anyway, things will be OK for that kid, we can sit back and laugh, just like when goofy things happen to anyone else, it's not funny at the time, but you learn to laugh. You don't have to walk around scared for the kid, you don't have to protect him on an internet message board.

I'm not scared for him just why be ignorant and say oh kidd goes from abuse to running over his kid.....that's so cool...

It was a joke, man. You don't have to be "the guy" to put a damper on the fun. Even if no one responds, leave it at that. It wasn't meant to be serious, and it wasn't meant to be literal, it was just a play on words.

a play on words....I wish i knew what that idiom meant....not idiot, idiom seriously idiom

I don't think we meant for it to sound abusive. I mean, sometimes you gotta laugh at little things like falling down....I mean Ray Allen fell down almost every game during the 1/2 year with the Sonics, which I found kind of funny, but hey, it does hurt sometimes. but when you're in the game you always get hurt no matter how hard u try. This little kid couldn't have died (that was a bit of an exaggeration...I mean I could give my little sister--whose also 4--a little shove or even just a little poke in the arm and she'd start to cry--seriously, little kids are that sensitive without a doubt). I don't think Jason Kidd would actually hurt his kid, he might've hurt his wife in the past, but that's over with and let's get on with the future. Alrighty? Okay.

Hey, I think there may be a person on a message board somewhere making fun of someone who could have gotten hurt, but really didn't. Go set 'em straight man...

Thank you 👍

No problem, the words just needed to be spoken.

OK....u need to be shot and killed for that wack ass joke. anada, that's all i'm sayin, i could see if he trucked a cameraman or somethin but it's almost a baby...the lil boy is sensitive and KC goes and tries to be a bad ass by sayin he beat his kid.....

I never said he was beating his kid. The comment was in jest, it was a joke, it was not meant to be taken literally. I don't know how many times I have to say that to you. If you think the joke is wack, then get lost and don't respond, if no one responds, then I will get the hint that the joke was not taken well. Let it go.

hitting and beating rn't the same thing? OK....o well i'll let it go seeing as u have noticed ur terrible judgment

Guys--you guys don't need to fight about this...obviously the kid was not hurt, kids even cry when they just get a little tiny poke on their shoulder or when strangers approach them (scary...) and he was just shocked that some guy (well his dad) landed on him. I would've been too...I mean he's 4...he doesn't know any better. And the other point is people laughs at little things like that..I mean I don't know about you, but my friend laughs everytime somebody falls--even herself included...she think it's funny how people can be so dramatic about little things like getting a little scratch. Thanks for listening for those who cared.

Don't be an idiot. Abusing or "beating" ur child is not the same as "hitting" him on accident as you try to save a basketball in a game. Do you see the difference? Mr. Hotsauce. I'm sure you have never laughed at a friend who fell down, for fear that you may hurt him and his sensitive feelings. For the rest of the people who may have a sense of humor, they can be their own judge. Stop crusading, you aren't saving anything, you aren't helping anything get better. And to the little kid, if you read this, I am so sorry and to Mr. Kidd, I am sorry for the "tasteless" joke, because we all know that every joke must be in good taste or else it is a crime against humanity, right? Apparently so. I'm sorry the small "baby" had to go through such a traumatic event, maybe we should go smack Mrs. Kidd for smirking as her son was crying, and maybe the TNT crew should be fired for making light of the situation.

May god be with "baby" Kidd as these events will surely never be forgotten...
