So is this:

"Cup slipped out of my hand while I was getting Ty," Kidd said of "Cupgate." "Sweaty palms. I was never good with the ball.

"In the heat of the battle, you're trying to get guys in and out of the game, and the cup fell out of my hand."

Video replays appeared to show Kidd saying "Hit me," something Taylor flatly denied.

Said Taylor: "No [Kidd didn't say that]. I wasn't paying attention. I just kind of bumped him. I didn't even know he was holding [anything]. [But] coach was drinking a soda on the sideline. I was like, 'What's he doing?'

"It could ice a free throw shooter and be a timeout when you don't have one, but that wasn't the thought process. I was just coming out, and he was in my way. 'Coach, get out of my way, bro.' "

I don't care what either of them say, it looked to me like they both ran into each other on purpose. Bad acting, too.

Lawrence frank's reaction was the best. He looked like he wanted to quit on the spot

I bet next time they are in this situation, you see Kidd eating a oversized whipped cream pie on the sideline and someone hits him in the face with it.

With the bad start with the Nets that will probably get him fired quickly, maybe he is auditioning for the Globe Trotters.

He should learn how to projectile vomit on cue, he could always just blame it on his teams nauseating play

In the 90s, Sonics coach Bernie Bickerstaff and Kings coach Jerry Reynolds both keeled over during games and passed out from heart problems.

Pretty suspicious. Both had long NBA careers afterward. I say they faked out the doctors.

I dont think he could pull that off twice, but you have to give him credit for having balls this size.

Kidd had been around long enough to know he had zero chance of getting away with that. Hell, you wouldn't get away with something like that in a middle school game, let alone the NBA.

Based on his completely disingenuous comments after the game, I think he was begging the league to suspend him. Thankfully, someone in the league office saw through his ruse and realized a suspension would be a reward and not a punishment. The real punishment is forcing him to sit on the bench night after night, watching his $100 million roster woefully underachieve and being completely powerless to do anything about it.

BNM

P.S. Since there was no timeout, just a stoppage in play, Blake had just as much right to be in that huddle as the New Jersey players.

C'mon guys, give the sore loser a break. It's not a big deal.

You act like he's a wife-beater or something.

I think it has less to do with the size of his marbles, and more to do with the size of his wallet. It just goes to show you how desperate that Kidd is for a win. It's really quite sad... until you remember what alcoholic and abusive pig he is. His career looks like his life for a change - a train wreck - and I couldn't be happier for him.

It's always irked me that people show so much love for this jackass just cause he can handle the rock. Like people gave Michael Jackson a free pass cause he could sing or Chris Brown cause he could dance. I couldn't care less about this last dumb act, but I'm glad more people are laughing at this woman beater.

Notice Kidd is not even the one drawing up the play. He's letting his assistant do it, how pathetic. What'll be his next move? Try to distract the other team by mooning them?

I thought it was a very odd move to make him coach so soon. But hell what do I know. Now I realize I (and a lot of others) were right in our doubts.

however, that drink scenario was down right devious! :o)

Tomlin and Kidd for the win!

At the start of the season I thought Lawarence Frank would be pissed that he did all the work and Kidd would reap the credit, now I bet Lawarence Frank is so glad he's not at the helm. A titanic disaster.
