Um, no. What does MarShon Brooks do that I'm missing when I watch him play? Seems like just another tweener to me, and he can't shoot from the outside.

Brooks would be our best bench player on a rookie contract the next two years and Reggie Evans has two years left at 1.6 million per year (and he is a great rebounder/4th big off the bench). Would be a cheap way of filling out our bench/getting something instead of nothing for Hickson.

But, I don't see Brooklyn trading for Hickson when they have Hump, Evans, Blatche and Teletovic.

I wouldn't mind getting Terrence Jones as a part of a deal for Hickson. Has a 15 PER yet barely gets to play. Very weird things going on in Houston. 3 first-round picks, and none of them contributing for a Houston team that spent a lot of money and is fighting the Blazers for the 8th spot.

Jeremy Lamb and Royce White were bad picks, but at least they were able to move Lamb.

Not exactly what you'd hope for moving a Hickson, though, but I get your point. I just shy away from 24 year-old tweeners who are worse their second year than their first year.

I've always like Jones. If they feel they have enough young prospects, are ripe for a playoff run this year and need a banger down low. He is probably available.
