Best thing that could have happened to the Blazers. Sit the injured Roy on the bench so this team can play some basketball.

Is this sarcasm? Roy was playing aggressive early and was showing no sign of injury. The refs fucked him over early on the Douche-Bag Williams call.

Not blowing by Williams on the break, reaching for his second foul. That's two signs right there.

If Webster and Rudy are going to be missing 3's again, we could be in trouble. Our defense seems better tonight which is good.

Lotta contact on Webster's 3 there. If that's Kobe, Lebron, or even a midlevel star, they call that. Defender body checks him on the follow through.

Not blowing by Williams? That's fucking stupid talk right there. Roy got the ball, Williams was two steps in front of Roy, Roy had taken 3 strides when he and DW connected and they were equal when the foul was called.

Did you expect him to steal the ball and be beamed under the Blazers hoop?

And as for reaching on Boozer? Have you never seen him do that? Roy is guilty of that quite a bit. Sometimes he gets away with it, sometimes he doesn't. Remember the Houston game last year when he did that with Yao?

Wow Howard was by his man, no defensive 3. Suck it hard refs.

I thought the defensive 3-in-the-key was supposed to be called when you have a defender sitting in the key for 3 or more seconds and not guarding a player of the offense? Was Juwan called because his toe was on the line around the lower block of the key? He was 3-4 feet from a Jazz player.

so lucky with some unlucky bounces for utah. Ronnie Brewer trade is gonna hurt them.

I still don't truly understand why the Jazz gave up Brewer so cheaply. I'd wouldn't mind seeing him here.

Not that you had any street cred, THE, but any that you may have had has been killed with the new avatar. Fuckin' A. Riduckulous, and I love it.

Nice offensive foul Rudy, work on that passing Batum...

Miller needs to stop shooting 3's.

It's not sarcasm. It's reality.

All they've done since they got the worthless Roy out of there is go on a 25-7 run.

GREAT first quarter. I love what Rudy is doing out there. Aldridge is dialed in as well.

Cause we forced them into Lux tax territory with our toxic offer for Millsap.

Yeah, I got that. In fact, I think I was the first person on this board to post that. But like they say, the way you make money in the NBA is to sell your team. You don't generally make money year-to-year. The deal didn't save them that much money that it's worth hurting the talent and chemistry the way they did.

Yeah, what a bum. We should have packaged him in with the Clippers trade, maybe we could have gotten Baron Davis back in return.

Wow, Mixum Jr. It was 3 minutes. And Roy had a nice bucket and a steal. While I agree Roy's lack of performance and limited ability hurt the team in prior games, I saw nothing while Roy was on the floor today to indicate the same trend.

Hopefully, Roy gets his 3rd and 4th fouls quickly and has to leave the game quickly when he comes back in.

I guarantee you that when Roy gets back in the Offense will go back to a crawl and be ineffective. On Defense, he'll be useless, too, as he can't help on switches, and he can't cover anyone one-on-one.

He needs to shut it down.

Stop defending an injured Roy. An injured Roy sucks. A non-injured Roy is an All-Star. They're two different people.

And, there's no nothing wrong with the refs, tonight.
