no it still draws a lot of hate from most in here lol.. but unfortunately you got it at the wrong time with some of the calmer people on the board posting. Expect a lot of PM's with profanity laced tirades directed at you in the morning lol. But also it doesnt help with Blazer fans getting pissed because we cant say shit.. you guys handed our asses to us earlier this month :sigh:
(edit: not that the people who would freak out on Laker fans had a right to talk shit anyway... but you get what I mean lol)

I like laces...on women.

lol to me, it sounds like he tries to hard to sound intelligent..sounding intelligent is good but he just forces it IMO...might be just me

maybe he does and I am just blind to it.. I honestly only hear him and Canzano for 20 min or so on the drive home from work. I just like that he seems collected and calm for his age. And he likes the Ducks, Blazers, and Soccer. So I just might be blinded by homerism

That was my read on the situation. You'll note that I also said that wouldn't have been my choice and I wouldn't have chosen this game to do it. But including those parts wouldn't have fit your narrative.

Still sounds like an excuse to me. Or, perhaps a rationalization. Why beat around the bush. Why not speak the truth. Nate fucked up and it cost us a game we had won.

haha see your peace keeping efforts do need revised.. now you are just throwing stuff out there that we agree on.

That or its 12:35AM and its time to set the mood. :P

That or turn this thread into a "Post pictures of women in laces" thread.

LMFAO!!! I totally just woke up my wife laughing. I totally forgot about those people. Goodness that was painful to sit through. The game sucked Donkey Penis... And the drunk classless idiots.

"STAND UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUPPP!!!! STAND UPPPPPPPPPPPPP IF YOU ARE A FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!! I HOPE YOUR DAUGHTER DIES IN A CAR WRECK REFFFFFFFF!!!!!"

lmao yeah..you would think most of those type of fans wouldnt fork up the $$$ for a playoff game.

^adding alcohol to make me a little more comfortable^

If you think that by saying that Bucher might be right about the fact that OKC has a brighter future means that i am an OKC fan then u are a fucking moron

Its like saying, just because i think that the Oregon Duck football team will be better than the beavers next year, i am now a duck fan...

are u fucking kidding me???

You've been agreeing with Bucher all night. Admit you have a disease and the only cure is more Thunder.

Um, I said I disagreed with the strategy. How is that different than "Nate fucked up".

I said no such thing. Sorry Fella, you're the only who knows the Blazers fortunes in the world that doesn't exist.

So, you're under the impression that nothing would have changed? That increased time playing together wouldn't have resulted in improved chemistry and team play? That's an interesting proposition.

Um, I said I disagreed with the strategy. How is that different than "Nate fucked up".

Saying:

"Nate decided to try to get Roy out of his funk tonight by feeding him the ball and running the offense through him."

Sure sounds like making an excuse, or at the very least, rationalizing Nate's 4th quarter strategy. Who cares if Roy is "in a funk" if trying to get him out of it costs us a home game against a division rival?

"Nate fucked up" is both more accurate and more concise.

So, your issue is my syntax? Okey-dokey.

I was so close to posting a picture of a girl in lingerie (with lace, I won't get off topic in this thread, I'm better than that) to keep the peace.

Ok, fine. We agree. Nate fucked up tonight and it cost us the game. Correct?

What about the Memphis game? What about the New Orleans game. Did Nate's 4th quarter play calling also cost us those games? Is this an isolated incident, or is it part of an emerging pattern?

I was at the game last nite. Very depressing loss. Miss FTs certainly hurt us. Lack of D rebounds of FTs hurt us a lot too. I don't know if they showed it on tv, but near the end I think Boozer made a obvious lane vilotation to get the rebound and the ref was right there! I was screaming at the ref, but he didn't listen. Fucking ref!

By playing a guy who's injured and sucks because of it.

Blazers without Roy before that last desperate OT make by Rudy that didn't matter: +17

Blazers with Roy on the floor: -22

A first grader can do this math.

+/- for a game is worthless. +/- for a season is not.

im just gonna hang here for a while and watch certain posters blow up on each other:pokecrap:

You know, a few of us Blazer fans locked in a room and forced to watch a game together would be a fucking hit reality TV show. Hell, you could be the host and often the ref.

Yeah, I get that. But when you finish game out of the playoffs, or a game out of the 7th or 6th or whatever seed, you can't help but think, "What if?" And I know you can't go back, but this is further proof that this team has a big inability to close teams out and finish them off. That's the biggest concern for me. I know it's one game. But to blow a big lead and lose, it indicates a bigger problem than a simple, single loss.

Actually, this loss, and the way it happened, could go down as big positive, as strange as it seems. McMillan can point to this the rest of the season as motivation and as a never-let up/always-execute reference.

The fans have every right to be burning the building down.

So one terrible quarter and the team is a disgrace and the RG should be burned down? You could fill up the Rose Garden with the number of quality quarters this team has played. You could fill up the locker room with the number of poor quarters this team has played.

Your problem is you want perfection from an imperfect world. Good luck with that.

We would've won with Blake and Travis. Travis used to win these games for us.

Travis did have spectacular mental powers from the bench with his injured foot, didn't he? Yeah, he would have bee outstanding last night.

Oh and swapping Blake for Camby last night would have done wonders for us as well.

I wish you were in charge of the Blazers. Then all of our worries could be laid to rest. I guess I'll have to settle for what we have.

Last year I, and many of u, were laughing at Ric Bucher when he wrote an article detailing how OKC had a brighter future than the Blazers...

Looks like he was right

Well it helps that he's a distant relative of Nostradamus and could foretell Portland's history-breaking injury problems.

Rough game last night, but unfortunately that is how it is going to be until some of the young players learn how to step up for more than a quarter or so at a time, which may or may not ever happen. But at least we will find out if they can play, and move forward.

That was a tough loss - considering Utah did not have Memet and AK47 had back spasms, to lose a large lead like that is painful.

In key games at home - especially OT - you have to win.

One thing I do notice: this team continues to have a hard time putting opponents away. You got to have killer instincts in a game like this. Never let a dangerous team like the Jazz hang around.

Right, which was why I was here complaining after the loss to the Celts.

Oh wait....no, I wasn't. Hmmm. Could it be that this wasn't just another loss? Could it be the team actually had an epic meltdown in a game they had won?

Nah! There couldn't be any possible reason that a rational mind would be displeased with the Utah game. How utterly foolish of me. Just ignore me and carry on.
