Palanatir is software used by the intelligence community to label Americans as threats to national security, based in large part by social media data.

Palantir was founded by Peter Thiel, who is a strong supporter of Trump and it's Thiel who got JD Vance's political career going.

Ability to act on this data and deal with these "subversives" can be implemented via executive order, even for things such as non-violent protest of a war.

This type of surveillence and emergency power has been around for decades now, but with the way things are ramping up, it's more concerning than ever in my view.

Sure, this could all be paranioa or whatever, but I think Whitney is over the target. Events like the Trump assassination attempt could be used to get support for things like this.

She crams a lot of info into her presentations, but it's worth watching.

I just look at how they've been granting themselves more and more power over the years, often under false pretenses. We keep getting leaders who say they will change things and end up not. Obama, Trump in 2016, now we've got a supposedly wiser Trump with these connections.
 
Peter Thiel scares the shit out of me. I think you are on the right track with your consternation here, and I am right there with you.
 
It’s funny when republicans clamor on about ‘right to privacy’ and government spying then every time the patriot act comes back up for a vote they all quietly punch their authoritarian card as if it’s not even up for debate. Another ‘temporary safety measure’ still being abused over 20 years after the reason for it’s inception has been rendered obsolete. Same with the federal income tax and we will also see the same ‘temporary’ covid safety measures being used out of context for decades to come.
Seeing alot of bad things about Vance popping up. I didn’t know anything about the guy prior to is VP selection, but Trump putting swamp creatures in his cabinet is not exactly a surprise.

The right was in favor of the Patriot Act and Iraq War, then we flip flopped and the left is favoring the war in Ukraine and laughs at the idea of "deep state abuse". Except now that Trump is coming back into power, now they'll be all scared about it again. So the maintain power by splitting the population.

And they obviously already had the Patriot Act mostly pre-written written as they plopped the massive document on the desk of Congress shortly after 9-11. Then anthrax is mailed to the two Democratic senators who happen to be on the committe responsible for approving it, as though it's a warning not to oppose it. They originally say it was from Saddam, then have to admit it came from a military base. They pin it on a "lone nut", though many experts say there is no way it was just a lone nut.

Those that recognize these patterns see them over and over, and it's frustrating that most cannot. And it brings up the question of why they have to resort to lies in order to grant themselves these types of powers? It's something that persists through every administration. I think a long game is being played here.

The only people favoring war in Ukraine are the Russians and their allies.

We all want Ukraine to stop being attacked and we're going to support helping them until the attack stops.
 
Thiel is gonna have Vance use the 25th amendment and turn the USA into a monarchy like Thiel has wanted for decades

And you know the Supreme Court will back that. They would much rather have Vance than Trump as Pres.
