Did anyone here her interview on the CC regarding the Kobe article?

Wow she came across looking stupid. Why did they allow her to go on the radio?
Of course Colin has to stand up for his fellow ESPN co-worker (Abbott) but when Colin rips on a LA team, you know it is getting bad.

Find the podcast on this if you can. She is running part of the Lakers? Hilarious.

That was the tweet... yeah.

I think the word she was looking for was "smart" there, not "loser". You know what though, THANKS JEANIE! You just made the Lakers an even more undesirable location for free agents. Hey Kobe, play for 10 more years!
 
I like the part where she said she was in charge and she could fire her brother if she wanted.
There is only one owner she said and she is the one.

I remember there being talk of a power struggle between her and her brother before she came out and said "i'm the one in charge" last year.

Lol she is awful, as much hate as her brother gets my guess is he wanted to move on without Kobe and build with Dwight and she pulled a power move, blew Kobe then told Dwight to beat bricks if he wanted to lose.

Neither one of those Busses have showed any sense ever since their Daddy died or ever since they took control over the franchise. If she come acrossed looking stupid I'm sure Phil will let her know about it.
 
She's not a basketball person, I thought her interview was fine. Colin is a blowhard.

I hate that franchise as much as everyone else, but anyone can realize that that team has been more successful than any other in the league in the past 25+ years. They did win two titles back to back just in the past 5 years, so they haven't been bad for too long. Colin's questions made them seem like the freakin Bucks.

Yeah I figured at some point someone would bring up their past championships. But I just don't see how it is relevant to Jeanie.

I am not a fan of Colin, but he asked a simple question and Jeanie went the "Loser " rout. It made her sound like a HS girl instead of the owner of the biggest franchise in the NBA.

If she had any intelligence she would have let the topic die down on it's own instead of fueling the fire and bringing it into yet another news cycle. What is she doing making the rounds on ESPN. She is not suited for it.

No. Colin did it right. She could have diverted the answers, but she showed her true colors. She lost. I, and most people are very happy about this.

Not according to her, she's in charge. She uses the word "I" when she talks about basketball decisions, not "we".

It's okay to continue hating the Lakers, HCP takes up enough room on the Laker Love Bandwagon as it is.

Nobody is saying the state of the Lakers is or is not her fault. It has nothing to do with the topic at hand.

The topic is her making the rounds in Bristol today just to defend Kobe against the ESPN article. I guess one could applaud her for defending her player, but why? I just don't see how she helped. Most people here in LA (That don't work for the Lakers) think she made it worse. She is no Mark Cuban. Talking with the media is not her strength. Whoever advised her on this was not thinking it through. Why make it worse and say you were going to investigate and fire anyone involved? Just ignore it.

So every big free agent in last year's free agent class is a loser because they do not want to play with someone delusional?

Kobe being an asshole might work if he was at the top of his game. Right now, he is Michael Jordan as a Wizard.
