I feel like the Blazers need more of a wing/SF, a big, or a PG right now. Green is basically a tweener between a wing and a big who doesn't rebound well, is an average defender at best (probably slightly below average), doesn't shoot the 3 well, and outside of a couple of seasons is usually pretty inefficient. Basically he's a worse version of Melo. I guess I wouldn't be angry with signing him but I don't think he's a huge help at this point in his career.

No. Jeff Green is like a poor man's Carmelo at this stage, with all of his deficiencies. The fact that the Jazz waived him so they could sign a player from the D-League speaks volumes.
