Jefferson Not Happy With Trade

he actually lives in tribeca. steve nash has a pad in soho and he comes to chinatown every summer to play soccer. saw him and jkidd playin a couple of weeks ago and took some pics

i'm a college nets fan from jersey .. anyways i've been reading these forums for a while and finally decided to sign up.

While I have never been a huge fan of RJ and always thought he/the organization misunderstood his role both after bringing vince and especially after trading kidd, i feel like in a lot of the recent threads on this forum, he is not given enough credit for all the years he has worked for this organization.

While I didn't feel like he was a good fit, especially last season, i never questioned his loyalty and his dedication towards the nets. he was a strong competitor, a non-whining team player, and a fierce player who simply misunderstood his role. i never thought there was never a question of effort when it came to jefferson.

He's truly the last one to go from our glorious kittles/kvh/kidd/kenyon era and while i do believe in the new direction kiki and rob are heading in, i believe that people should remember him in a more fitting way. i truly believe jefferson loved being a net.

Yeah, Nash had a charity/free soccer game last week. Don't know how it was a charity related game if they didn't drum up money via tickets.

I don't feel bad for Richard Jefferson. He's going to earn 13 million in about six months of work and he can have all the fur coats and Wisconsin girls he can handle.

Welcome to S2 syc514. I feel the same way. The amount he was getting paid, and how it strained the Nets' $ flexibility did bother me though.

I am glad though RJ is a Buck, as i have more reason to root for my home town Team now.

He will be missed. But the plain fact is he made himself expendable by the way he played for the last couple of years. He has no one to blame but himself. If his defense were more up to par, the team would have had a harder time letting him go in a trade.

This trade had nothing to do with making it a better team. It was about saving $$$, and gearing up for LBJ.

Well he will get to travel to plenty of other big cities in US, and does not have to live there in the offseason.

Yeah well RJ better not get lost and end up driving down the wrong street into North Milwaukee. Nort Milwaukee is one of the worst places in this country the Crime rate is high and it is a very dangerous place to be.

I just hope RJ gets to take in a baseball game of my favorite team now that he is in Milwaukee.

Loved TOO MUCh by some male fans IMO

But yeah, Milwaukee's only claim to fame in the last decade or so is that its the city where Eric, Donna. Hyde and Kelso originated from.

Well this is part of the risk you take on when you sign a long term deal. Getting moved to a team NOT of your choosing. I can't feel bad for RJ, he's going to pull in what, 90-100 million when he's done with his career.

Other than maybe Camden, North Milwaukee is a whole lot worse. North Milwaukee is worse than Newark.
