Jerry Falwell Jr. lost 'a lot of blood' after drunkenly falling down the stairs and hitting his head on a trash can, according to a 911 call made by his wife days after his resignation from Liberty University

• Becki Falwell made a 911 call after returning to her home from 11pm church on August 31 to find her husband Jerry Falwell Jr. injured
• She claimed that she had to smash a door in with a chair after finding the home locked
• According to the report log, Falwell suffered lacerations to his face after hitting a trash can following a drunken fall down the stairs
• Becki initially refused to cooperate with the cops on questions about how much her husband drank
• She told them he was losing 'a lot of blood right now'
• It came a week after Falwell resigned from Liberty University following claims that he consented to his wife having an affair with a pool boy
• The evangelical college has a strict code of conduct for its students regarding alcohol and sex
