Jerry Vale — the Bronx-born crooner who shot to the top of the music charts with the 1950s hit song “Al-Di-La” — died Sunday. He was 83.
Vale died at his home in Palm Desert, Calif. His lawyer, Harold Levy, said Vale had been in declining health.
