10 years ago, when they were best friends, they were both bachelors and dating around a lot. Since then, A-Rod has gotten married and settled down and had children. Jeter is still living it up as a bachelor. Of course they aren't as close as they used to be anymore. A-Rod moved on from that lifestyle.
