Alex Rodriguez is off the disabled list.
Brent Lillibridge is designated for assignment.
David Adams is up from Triple-A.
The Lillibridge move would be necessary to open a 40-man spot for Rodriguez, something the Yankees couldn’t have done by simply putting Jeter on the DL.
