After watching the replay, it was even better than I thought. Perfectly thrown ball. Right in Branch's hands, and away from the defender, so he can't break it up.

At some point, the Jets have to get serious credit. A few weeks before the Pats didn't just beat them, but obliterated them. NY wasn't intimidated and the coaching staff made some substantive changes. I don't like either team, but it was a hell of a game.

Brady isn't the OC, so who cares? They were obviously running the play clock down so the Jets were forced to show their defense before the ball was snapped. If they scored on the drive, they're down 3 with like 4 mins left. And yeah, Brady heated up in garbage time, good for him.

Either way he controls the pace of the game as QB, and Belichick was on the sideline telling him to hurry up. Without trying a hurry up offense he sealed his fate, that he can't understand that is his problem.

Branch was already away from the defender, he was wide open on the front shoulder pass but Brady overthrew him.

Anyway no QB is going to continue winning that many low scoring games. Well actually maybe Ben Roethlisberger, it was amazing but he was even worse than Brady. I wasn't sure that would be possible with Mike Wallace and that running game.
