Tried to look for an old JFK thread for this, but couldn’t find one.

Weren’t the JFK files supposed to be released today, or am I way off as usual? #GrassyKnollFams

Among some interesting new details released.

Apparently, Oswald was a very poor shot, yet somehow was able to assassinate the president in a moving car.

A CIA official fled to a friend's house following the assassination, claiming that a CIA clique was responsible for it, and that he was afraid for his life. He was later found dead from a gunshot wound after returning to his apartment...his death was ruled a suicide.

The US government was warned in advance of an assassination attempt and that Oswald would be the one to attempt it.
 
@THE HCP is fascinated with the entire JFK situation. I love hearing all the different conspiracies. That’s why I swore there was a JFK thread on here from years ago.
 
I love the very last line in the movie THE ROCK.
When they run out of the church with all the TOP SECRETS they found…..Cage asks, “You wanna know who shot JFK?!?” Great scene.
 
I don't care who shot JFK. The important thing is that he was shot, not whodunnit.

What a weird thing to obsess about.

Now, John Lennon's murder, that was a conspiracy. Did you know that Mark David Chapman was paid $100,000 a week before the shooting by the government of Bangladesh? And that his roommate at the time was none other than... wait for it... LIZ CHENEY!!

For real? Wow. Bombshell.

Chapman did that one for sho...people witnessed it close up.

Though, he probably would have preferred to do it in a rye field so I hear.
 
Like barfo, I don't care who shot JFK. That was over 60 years ago.

I do wonder why we'v never heard anything about who shot DJT, and how he was able to grow cartilage back.
