Jimmer Fredette was named MVP of the D-League All-Star Game with 35 points.

Fredette is still trying to get back to the NBA.

"You're always hopeful," said Fredette. "Everybody in this league, that's what their dream is. They want to get back or into the NBA, or further their career. That's what this league is for, and I'm no different."

Fredette is averaging 22.6 points and 4.8 assists per game for the Westchester Knicks.

I bet you're quite the proud mother today--congratulations! Make sure you tell ol' Jimmer that I said, "Good game!"

Yeah, I just looked. Bayless was never in the dleague. So, that comment makes 0 sense.

A lottery team that needs 3-point shooting like the Lakers or Philly should take a flyer. I think he could be used as JJ Reddick type player, run off a screens and only look to bomb 3s. Hope he's been working on his D though.

Tim Frazier, Elliot Williams and Malik Hairston (former Duck) all won D league mvps...Tim warms our bench, EWill is playing in Greece and Hairston never got a job in the league other than a couple of 10 day call ups. All 3 are better than Jimmer Fredette

Wow, Ewill just had some 10 dayers this year... I'm surprised he can't stick in the league.

I'd say Jimmer is better than Frazier and Hairston... And I really do not like Jimmer at all.

PG sized shooter with PF agility and playmaking skills. A poor man's Steve Kerr

STOMP
Where's the poor man's MJ playing these days?

We got the poor man's Kobe so we need the poor man's Shaq.

I thought that was Oliver Miller but apparently it is some AND1 guy by the name of Troy Jackson, who is the brother of Mark Jackson. I wonder if there was a 3rd Jackson brother and if this Troy guy ate him.

Edit: I just saw that this guy is also deceased so that was in poor taste. RIP big man.

That's fucked up. However, I will say that things like vegetables probably weren't his favorite. I know because until I was about 35 I hated them too.

I was built just like him only I'm just 6'2.

If he was anything like me he learned to put BBQ sauce on them at a young age!

Signed with the Knicks. Good think D Fish can't steal his girl now.

Yao Ming played for the Shanghai Sharks too...I watched a lot of his games when he played there..used to play pick up games with some guys from the Taipei Tigers...pretty good players back in the day

Bayless won MVP of summer league, not D league. On that note, isn't it called the G-League now?

Kinda surprised if Jimmer gets his 100th shot before Errick McCollum gets his first.
