Jimmy Connors and John McEnroe will renew their rivalry when they will square off for the first time in 10 years at a World Team Tennis match.
Connors will play for the Philadelphia Freedoms against McEnroe's New York Sportimes on July 14 at Randall's Island in Manhattan. The Sportimes say they also will play doubles.
Connors last played McEnroe on the ATP Tour in 1991. McEnroe leads the series 20-14.
Connors said "there's always something special about playing John, especially in front of a New York crowd." McEnroe said they "love to put on a show."
