He's apart of their core as they rebuild.

I think they're going to find themselves in a bit of a conundrum if they have to choose between need vs. best player available come draft time and that player could be Jared Sullinger, a player very similar to Hickson, IMO.

He's like a lot of our guys. A great number 3 and a pretty good number 2, but completely unsuited to being a team's focal point -- having said that he'd probably be a nice compliment to Aldridge, but I have no idea what the Cavs would accept in trade.

I'll confess. I'm basing my impressions mostly off of what I saw of him last year, I haven't even looked at a Cleveland boxscore this year. It does make me wonder if his numbers are suffering because he's being miscast in the wrong role.

He's still young, at age 22, even though he's in his third NBA season.

I haven't seen him play that much, but it looks like he's not only failed to step up into the James void but that he's actually regressed this year.

Hickson and Byron Scott haven't been huge fans of each other. Hickson's been in the doghouse a little bit. That said he's been better as of late.

It's hard to take anything too seriously about the Cavs this year. The whole team quit on the season at the beginning of December after the Heat game in Cleveland. I'd try not to judge the players too harshly. The city and the players are obviously reeling from The Decision.

That's why he didn't play Parker and Moon, who both stink. It's a tank job, and Moon and Parker have nothing to do with the future of the team. Getting the most lottery balls does, though.

Parker has average 29 mpg this season, so it's not like he hasn't been a big part of this mess.

Young bad >>> old bad. You're acting like playing Anthony Parker more than 29mpg and Moon more than 15mpg would mean anything for that crap team. May as well see if your young bad can improve versus playing your old bad players and maybe winning 3 or 4 more games. Moon is just terrible these days anyhow, though, so playing him seems worthless regardless of adding another win.

Eyenga plays 20, Harris plays 3. Cavs lost by 15 at home to a team that hadn't won of the road all season.
