...you won't get many viable and/or available names, for reasons that should be obvious to everyone except those who simply like to ridicule, but have no alternate plan.
Let's hope not, but I doubt it, he's got it good in NY and is liked by the fans.
I think the point of the discussion on the Fan was would Girardi look to another opening instead of resigning in New York. I think the bigger question is in regards to Brian Cashman. There's something going on there. I wouldn't be shocked to hear of his firing shortly after the season ends.
regarding Oppenheimer... what is the general consensus on him? what has he actually done that would make him a viable candidate?
...I don't think there is a general consensus on him...he's pretty much been hidden and under the radar. Most people don't even know who he is.
