Roy is doubtful tonight.

MRI when he gets back into Portland.

Sweet.

I don't understand. Do they not have any fucking hospitals in San Antonio? If there's a possibility one way or another that he plays tonight, why would you wait on getting the MRI? Why did he not have it first thing in the morning?

@blazerfreeman: Brandon Roy has been downgraded to doubtful for tonight's game @ San Antonio because of his sore left shoulder. I don't think he plays.

I wonder if maybe the NBA just wanted to even the playing field, and thinned our roster for us a bit. Only expecting to do maybe 1 or 2..but someone fell asleep at the switch..or maybe it's broken, and we're onto #8.

LMAO. WHAT THE FOOOOOOOOOOK.

Got that from Blazersedge. You can add Roy there too.

Can we just forfeit this game and let the San Antonio fans watch an intra-squad scrimmage?

...let him rest, there is no hurry :dunno:

I'm fine with him resting if that's what happens. But it seems like they're leaving the decision up to him, and how he feels. Which is what bugs me. If that is the case, befor trusting his pain threshold, they should see what he's up against. It's stupid.

Blake
Tolliver
Pendergraph
Cunningham

Awesome!

The starting 5 isn't so putrid....it's the backups that are.

Not that the starting 5 will be winning division titles anytime soon, but our backups consist of a quickly deteriorating PG, one NBDL guy, a rookie who is just playing his 2nd game, and Richie Cunningham's brother from another mother.

Not sure this is fair anymore.

They have an MRI machine in SA. It is coal powered, and takes 2 days to warm up before they can use it.

They were going to replace it, but they got sidetracked by a debate over whether a hospital needed indoor plumbing.

Because if it turned out he could play, then he needs all the rest he can get.

I'll be watching for the laughs. If this team positions itself to grab a win in the 4th, that would be the most amazing thing ever.

No, the starting five isn't exactly diamonds either.

This should be entertaining for those who enjoyed the Hindenburg.

Well I'll say one thing, I'm glad they're not being ass headed about trying to play him when it's possible he's injured and not just hurting.

Confirmed on the pregame show. No B. Roy, this sucks!

But this sucks only for tonight!

Making absolutely certain that Roy's shoulder checks out - - and is simply in need of rest - makes great sense! Only if the Blazer medical staff would have followed these same principals with others!

You should be on the medical staff if you can diagnose these things just by looking at them.
